Happy Summer holidays people. Hopefully everyone can have some time to relax a bit.
So here we go with yet another Stranger Things video. It has become a tradition for me to upload videos about this show since It first aired. This season was very ambitious and I want to congratulate the whole team for the amount of work given.
I was very moved by Eddie's character & his death. I wish It would've been better handled If I'm honest and I believe there was so much more do with his character. Max's death was, on the other hand really emotionnal and I believe that even If she might come back her arc was perfectly closed. Hopper remains one of the best character. My only regret is that many characters didn't had any developments such as Steve Harrington.

The last three seasons they have been able to create memorable characters that touch everyone right in the feels and then they kill them lol
Eddie “The Banished” Munson, the hero no one saw coming. Ostracized for crimes he didn’t commit and joined a fight that he had no place in. Sacrificed his life to buy the world time. He may not have been made by the stuff of legends but he fought and died like one.
The Banished found his way home. And he will be remembered

Joseph “Eddie” improvised the line “I love you man” in that moment and it sealed the deal on his death hurting the most.

He HAD to say it. Joseph Quinn KNEW it needed to be said. And the fact Gaten replied the way he did made it hurt 1000 times more. Both amazing actors to make the scene have such a bigger impact.

everything about S4 was just brilliant- the plot, characters, vfx, soundtracks- and you haven't failed one bit to do it justice! such a beautiful portrayal of one of my fav shows; thank you for this tribute it's absolute perfection! love the title and thumbnail🥺
i agree almost completely other than the bully storyline which was a bit thin

@@nltk93 I figured that was the case but this show has never made their villains as one dimensional. If for instance there was more of a solid reason for why jason and the other bullies were so violent immediatedly.
@@joepagram8287 Jason is violent because everyone in Hawkins including him thinks eddie killed his girlfriends and his friends just want to help him

Somehow Eddie's faith hit harder than Max's, even though Eddie was a new character this season and Max has been there from s2
i think because eddie made the CHOICE to give everyone extra time and sacrifice himself, while max has been under the spell and couldnt do as much about it. im never forgiving the duffer brothers tho i cant belive they killed off eddie

@@delanie1275 as much as i love Eddie, what would have been the alternative ? go back to Hawkins and get arrested for murders he didn't commit, get put in jail or the insane asylum until the end of his days ? I think he knew if he came back his life would be over. He chose to be a hero instead.

@@delanie1275 I mean that's kinda a stupid argument for why it hit harder. Max also made the CHOICE to be the bait, to stop listening to music and let him in. No way he wouldn't of eventually just given up and gone after someone else no matter how much he wanted to hurt El by killing one of her friends ultimately it wouldn't of been worth it if they had completely stopped him. Though at the end of the day its just personal preference i suppose, I think both deaths hit really hard, however Max's hit harder me. Just because of how they were when they died, Eddie died knowing he did good and knowing for once he didn't run away when things got tough. But Max on the other hand died in terror realizing despite the shame and guilt she felt over billy she wanted to live on top of Lucas's just complete heartbreak and despair at watching her die and not being about to do anything about it just made it hurt and a little more then Eddies.
the guitar solo was EVERYTHING
Eddie's arc resonates so much with so many of us... We're willing to do everything we can for some people, maybe even when we are hated. Trying to be good when you're just a freak or a weirdo...

Season 4 was almost perfect in my eyes.Charachterization was done superbly and the plot with Vecna was incredibly intriguing. The only gripes I have is the bullies lead by Jason were underwritten and perhaps an afterthought to a plot that already had a lot going on.
and also the fact they added a time skip completly skipping over where murray and enzo are and passing over everyone mourning eddies death
Genuinely one of the best videos You've ever made. The flow of the editing is impeccable and the vibe of the show is perfectly captured. Every sound effect from the clock ticking at the beginning, to the wooshes and to the reverb, they're all perfectly incorporated. Love the inclusion of subtitles too. The hype I felt when the Eddie guitar scene came up is just surreal, and it keeps that energy until the end of the song, genuinely incredible. 2nd part also completely destroys me emotionally, especially 4:46. Whole part conveys it's themes perfectly. Absolutely beautiful tribute to the show, no words are enough to describe how much I love this.

Eddie is in all of us and is a true hero. We all want to believe that we wouldn't run away and he didn't. Season was amazing and this is an awesome tribute. Well done Slyfer. Got me in tears as always.

Amazing season. I was really rooting for Eddie, but he went out like a hero.
Great video! Eddie's death and Dustin's reaction broke me, you can tell the level of writing when a brand new character leaves a mark that fast, that seeing him dying gets so many emotional responses, great acting from those two, and also from Sadie/Max, though I think El restarting her heart, kinda took away from the moment where she stopped moving at all, I guess it's not without a purpose and they will end her story for good next season, anyway, this was another great season, definitely.

In a single season, you reached the hearts of millions, and became and instant hero to them all.
Growing up, I was also the outcast, who never got a break, and was always misunderstood.
I was bullied, accused of things I didn't do, and constantly running from fights.
It sucked, cause anybody who got to know me, knew I had nothing but compassion and love to give.
Seeing Eddie, I never related more with a fictional character in my life.
He used humor to make everyone around him smile, was willing to help people in need, and, in the end, found his moment to finally be a hero.
You will be missed Eddie, the greatest hero I have ever seen.
I was 12 years old when this first came out. I just convinced my dad to get the netflix subscription just to watch this show. I haven't loved a show this much with every season always blowing me away with its characters and story. Then comes season 4 and it took the show to such a level of emotion, comedy, and action that I can not properly describe. Thank you for this video and can't wait for what else there is to come for season 5.

Caleb and Sadie acting in Max death scene made it hard to not cry waterfalls they were amazing. The Duffer brothers know how to make you care about a character or couple so their death is so impactful and painful. I never cared about Lumax until this season making the moment Lucas holding her in his arms while she dies hurt so much more and wow did I believe Lucas was lost the love of his life in the tears and crying to the cracks in his voice.
I go from crying to laughing because of Murray saying "Son of a bitch"🤣🤣🤣 this show has been so good for so long. This season really hit hard, much love for this and you brother! Keep up the awesome work!

This season didn't really handle many characters well but they gave you the material to do something great. Absolutely amazing video that elevates Eddie's guitar scene to another level. The moment he starts playing, the part just never stops, it keeps giving and giving. The chills were FELT !
Great justice given to Eddie in the second part, way more than the show gave him. Such emotions in the show portrayed so well here.

One of the best characters I've seen in TV shows and movies. Eddie may have appeared in the last season, but he lit up in such a way that we will remember him for a long time. He is a real true hero! 🎸

I knew it would be hard, judged by the title, but you topped my expectations.
Once again just magic. Got chills watching this edit. This season was so good and I'm beyond heartbroken eddie went down. But he went out metal as hell and didn't run away. Straight hero.

Duffer Brothers really out did themselves with Season 4! I couldnt believe that Eddie Munson would become one of my top 3 favorite characters from Stranger Things! There needs to edit for just Eddie alone!

Truly a beautiful tribute. This might just be my favorite season of any television show… ever. My friends and I had a watch party for Vol. 2 and our level of investment, excitement, and heartbreak was Infinity War/Endgame/No Way Home levels of hype. Truly a cinematic experience that I don’t think any other television series could possibly top. Really wish they would have released Vol. 2 in theaters. That would have been amazing to see on the big screen.

I’ve watched this over six times, and i’ve got goosebumps every single time.
Lucas and Dustin's cry broke me, seeing them like that, at their lowest crying over the people that they care and love, trying their best to hold one to the person in their arms/hands literally adds more to the scene as a whole. It's way more emotional as if you can feel their pain instead of just seeing it happening. It's truly an work of art, and this also made my sad.
I bawled SO HARD when Eddie died and Max went into a coma, but I just cried again.

Eddie… I think this is one of those characters that you instantly love, related to, and cry your heart out when they depart. Plus, his chemistry with Dustin just made him even more exceptional.

The fact that the creators did eddie's character development so perfectly that we fell in love with him in just one season and on the other hand characters like Jonathan holding so much potential didn't have that much good character arc. Hope to see more from him in next season.
