  • Hey everyone, In today's episode we take a look at another 3D printed action figure, this time around we have the eradicator from the Death and Return of Superman comic book series. This figure will complement the Mafex line of figures very well. Check out this video to find out more about my 3D printing settings and the assembly of this action figure.
    Thank you ‪@godsaid4502‬ Resione Resin for supporting this 3D print.

    Wow. This is amazing. You made your own Mafex figure. They really do have one of the best articulation layouts in the figure industry.

      I agree 100%. I tried my best to replicate Mafex in a 3D printable format.

    Hey, i just discovered your channel and it's amazing, thanks for sharing your knowledge and your journey. I don't own a resin printer yet but I'm really interested in designing my own figures when I have it and this will save me a lot of wasted time failing

    Great video. Do you account tolarance for paint? Asking because im curious if you have issues where the paint will peel off at the areas where there are contact joints.

    • @AzrachToys
      @AzrachToys  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I do account for paint in the tolerances. However there was some paint rub on the knees due to a stray support artefact

    Wow, the information you put here felt like you should be charge some money for these insights lol.
    So i am also interested to make my own action figure. I'd be pretty confident to learn in sculpting the shapes and "flesh" of the figure, but the engineering and precision needed for the joints and articulation are always the intimidating part.
    My question, would you actually mind if i use your joints system but changing the "flesh" to my own and print it? Of course i'd credit you if i post it anywhere (didn't plan to sell it anyway, just a hobby).
    If you mind, i will make my own joint system, but still, going to look at yours as reference because of how good this looks and performs, and then do trial and error on my own.

    • @AzrachToys
      @AzrachToys  Před 2 měsíci +1

      You can 100% use my joints as a base. I do not permit selling files using my joints, but for your own purpose, please go ahead!

    Question by any chance do you have a tutorial video on how to do a skeleton of the figure? I'm trying to make my own and one problem I'm running into is how things like a butterfly joint would move from the inside when it's not visible. Is there a place where you get the references? And how do you know you size?

    • @AzrachToys
      @AzrachToys  Před 5 měsíci +1

      All my references are action figures I have. I take them apart to study the joints. Unfortunately, I do not have any tutorials at the moment. It would take me a long time to make tutorials.
      I use blender as my CAD software. Blender has a nifty measuring system called units you can look into.

      @@AzrachToys Understandable and I kind of expected that you would use your own figures to study how it works but thanks for replying really appreciate it.

    • @AzrachToys
      @AzrachToys  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Depends on what you are making. Figures can be as complex or as simple as you would like. I would recommend starting with simpler joints to begin.

    • @AzrachToys
      @AzrachToys  Před 6 měsíci

      I am using the unformation GK Two currently but I was using the Elegoo Mars 2 pro for the longest time. i would definitely recommend the Elegoo for starters but the Uniformation is bigger and better with heating capabilities.
