You hardball, you softball, you hardball, you softball, that's how it constantly goes, like building a house it happens step by step. Kim tests nukes aggressively? Trump says he's willing to completely destroy NK if it came down to it, is then considered by the entire media to be a lunatic who can't be trusted with nukes. Underlines his aggressiveness with a "rogue drone strike" on Syria. NK stops rocket testing for a prolonged time, Trump meets with Kim. Kim's staff talks disparagingly about the VP, Trump says the meeting won't happen, after which NK softballs again and begs for the meeting. Before Trump, negotiations weren't even happening. PLEASE read up on how negotiation tactics work.

President Trump is doing a great job. Since talks started missile testing has stopped, (back in the obama era missiles were fired every 24 hours), we have now gotten back the remains of American soldiers so the families can have closure and put their loved one to rest, and we are on our way to denuclearization, although it may take time, we are taking a step in the right direction. Reaching out to other countries we don't necessarily agree with in hopes of coming together on a mutual agreement is a win win for all.

He has forgotten completely about American student Otto Warmbier who travelled to North Korea in 2017. For the "crime" of taking a poster at his hotel, Warbier was severely tortured by the North Koreans, returned to the U.S., where he died shortly afterward. And Trump has forgotten about this, and cheerfully embraces his newfound friend, Kim Jong Un. Anything to make a buck.

as a Korean American, this is very historic, and symbolic moment. Just as when President Moon met with Kim Jung Un the first time at the DMZ. DMZ is the place where US, South and North Korea decided to stop the war and split the country into two. It's been almost a decade where no one has every crossed DMZ without being targeted by a gun point. For the presidents of these countries to meet in current time for the first time since last time day met to seperate the country and end the Korean War, it's very historic, and has a lot of meaning. I personally dislike Donald Trump, but this is a great progress that's been made, and also kudos to President Moon for making this happen. If President Moon had not met Kim Jung Un at the DMZ previously, this would have not happened. For almost of decade, we have been enemies. For them to risk the danger of assassination and step into each other's soil, it shows some type of trust. Donald's Trump's comments always have been questionable. It does sound like he is trying to pamper up Kim Jung Un, but none the less, this is definitely a positive thing. I hope to see Koreas united before my life is over.
