Howdy Georgia boy! Great maintenance video even though I'm watching 6 years later. Very good explanation as you went along. I use the Labelle 106 grease for models. As I've heard from other modelers, grease for the gears and oil for the bearings/bushings. Cheers from an ex-Georgian in eastern TN

Walthers stopped making these cheap life like engines. They now make mainline series locomotives. Which are more reliably and are able to pull more

Not much to them, so unless something major is wrong all it takes is a little clean up. Thanks for watching.-Ed

Its tough to find a good brick and mortar hobby shop now days, the majority are online only. I try to repair and or replace as much as I feel is within my capabilities before reaching out for help. I've had success finding good guys to work on my stuff at some of the model railroad shows I attend. Good luck on your comeback, keep us posted. Thanks for watching-Ed

Its beat up pretty bad, I'm not running nor do I see myself running DC in the future. I actually have a few things I might be willing to part with. Shoot me an e-mail and we can go from there. EVMR@yahoo.com. Thanks for watching.-Ed.
