- I took the JR Relier bus from Tokyo to Osaka on its advanced class. Considering the prices of the Shinkansen Bullet train and an accommodation, this might be the best option to travel between the two cities.
Fare: 8,500JPY/80USD
Route: Tokyo-Osaka
Bus: JR Ruiler 17
Seat: Advanced class
Experience: cursed seat - Hry
13:14 subtitles: "we got ramen, pork cutlet"
shows Starbucks sign
subtitles: "Seattle"
I noticed that too! 🤣🤣🤤
LMAO
I loved that --- so 🤣
One of the main reasons I truly enjoy your videos (other than the beautiful scenery and the never ending travel variations) is your snarky, witty, and delightfully funny banter in the English subtitles.
Breathtaking view of Mount Fuji 😂
🤣🤣
“Are you guys seeing this?”
best Fuji I've ever seen
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We couldnt see becouse fark night)))
Man, that was one tight bathroom. But for a bus you can't expect too much. For $80 it wasn't bad. Good video! Thanks!
he only washed one hand, barely the fingers. :(
還是有缺點,
He was using his other hand to hold d video camera...
@@CrackerSmith I’m sure he washed his hands when the camera was off. He was just demonstrating.
It is often helpful while travelling to carry a small multitool (to help with misplaced screws), at least one binder clip (for the curtain), and for hotel use, at least one doorstop wedge.
Plastic door step wedge is cheap and light so yes good idea, multi tool only if ultra small light with bottle opener/can opener/knife feature for food use
Clothes pin or chip clip are always in my hand carry luggage for those stubborn hotel room curtains (or partially eaten bag of snack food I don’t want to leak into my ruck).
I have a multi tool took a form of a credit card and as thick as ones. And I'm telling you that is a game changer for me. And is cost me like 2$.
I had to use the clasp of my cheap Casio watch to fix my bag lol. Screw for the handle came loose while I was dragging it across Kyoto.
Very insightful. I'm going to apply the binder clip and doorstop to my travel items.
夜行バスは、休憩で止まる深夜のPAやSAでの時間が本当に好き。なんだろう、あの言葉に表せない感じ。
I love your videos! Made me laugh all the way; you have a great sense of humor about traveling during the cursed C19 period-era. Looking forward to seeing more in the future. Greetings from Florida: USA.
Bus bathrooms are normally a filthy nightmare. That bathroom looked so clean.
Как можно путешествовать в 19 век? Это 18.... год , тогда , что автобусы были такие?
カーテンの位置が微妙で、一生懸命閉めようとしたり周りがどうか確認してた所笑ってしまいました(笑)
I rode a Greyhound bus from Toronto to Vancouver once as a young man, took four days and five nights.
It was...less well appointed than this nice looking ride is.
What a great experience you had! Toronto to Van… wow you can make any trips, bro, just Impressed!
well as long as u didnt have vincent lee as a travel mate eh!!
I once took a greyhound as well but from Pennsylvania to New York back when I was 12. It was only about 4 hours, but it was much less pleasant than driving with a personal vehicle.
That had to be an interesting ride. I did it by plane once.
Four day?? Omg
Мне нравятся эти обзоры, тут понимаешь, что кто- то старается для людей, особенно когда они готовы платить за удобства.Молодец!!!
Claustrophobic bottle holder 😂😂😂 I just love the wittiness and sarcasm describing things, it always makes me burst out laughing!
In every single one of this guy's videos there are at least 2 moments that make me laugh out loud.
@@danmccarthy4700 Same lol I totally can’t take a sip of water or any other beverage when watching the videos or there’s a high risk of wet phone or computer 😂
Love this. Funny moments there. Lol😅
Agreed. When he panned around looking at what they offered at the rest stop and saw the Starbucks and said Seattle i literally lol’d.😂
@@danmccarthy4700 yup
Please keep making videos! Even if it is just random walks to spots you find interesting! I love your funny commentary, especially when you do things like T H I S or ALL CAPS. XD
With all those things on your face, plus the glasses, you looked like Toriyama Akira-sensei. Lovely video. Thank you. 🙏
Thanks for another amazing video solo, you are the best travel CZcamsr I've ever seen
5:56 Welcome to the American public bathroom experience
So true! Especially on planes!
Your content is top tier! The shooting, editing and commentary! Subscribed =)
The funny commentary really sets your videos apart...good stuff! This seemed like a good deal for the money, although the compromised curtain function was pretty disappointing. Someone working on the bus didn't think that through very well.
I had taken a similar bus but with Willer Express from Okayama to Tokyo, taking a little over 12 hours. We got off at Shinjuku Station instead of Tokyo Station though. As well since it was overnight, we only had one rest stop in Kanagawa. 😅
The cursed 7C 🤣🤣
Thank you for the ride. Appreciate it.
Mount fuji was breath taking. Never seen it this magestic. I like your reviews. You dont talk or spend too much time with pointless pointing or looking around. Some day I ll get over my fear of heights 😭
Thank you for sharing another adventure. I love your amusing subtitles! Arigatou.
I enjoy the videos of your solo adventures! Thank you from NY.
I loved seeing this side of another countries transit system. Completely different from what we generally do in Canada.
Screws used as curtain stoppers are awesome. Nice. Thanks for sharing.
"This is sad" - But not your videos. They always make me smile and they are relaxing. :) Thank you!
Wow! Mt. Fuji was amazing!! Absolutely breathtaking! And I really enjoyed our chat with Light Polution! Light Pollution was so helpful in pointing out the lovely sights of the mountain! 👍🗻⛩
Your sense of humour makes me laugh 😆 I can't believe your channel is so new, it is really polished! Do you do these journeys for work or for fun?
I am a single traveller + backpacker originated from Korea; living in Australia . Everyyear, I regularly travel to Taiwan, all around the little island while trying all kinda things. In Nov 2019, I had a last trip there because I wanted to start travelling to Japan- without knowing the COVID 19 will stop me. I thought this monster would prevent me for an year, but I am still trapped in our country. Therefore, your video really relieves my spirit and mind; the way you travel , the way you eat and the way you see; all are what I wanted to do when I travel Japan. I started watching this using my phone but now I love watching from laptop for better feeling and experience- especially when you eat! (haha)
From other video, I watched you thanked to people as numbers are growing up; but I have to say "thank YOU" very very much.
I love your videos. Thank you for sharing these.
Really enjoying all your videos thank you a new subscriber from UK 🇬🇧
Japan really is a magnificent place.
BAHAHAHA......IF YOUR POLITICS ARE AGREED UPON...
Not unless your a female
Your commentary is *chef’s kiss* 👌🏽😄
Enjoyed the trip. You are very funny. Thanks for the ride. 😁
I don't know what it is that causes or enables all your travel, but I'm so glad you share it with us. And yes, I could see Mt. Fuji!!
I loved your videos, it's so relaxing for me, and I really like travel on bus too.
Regards form Mexico. :) :D
Great trip, and yes, it's on sleeper bus. In my country, the term of sleeper bus is, the seat nearly laying down (maybe 140-160°) and they have partition like Capsule hotel. When I see the price and converted to my local currency, looks expensive (how weak my local currency is), sleeper in my country maybe around $20-$40, depends the distance, and they also have free meal in selected restaurant when resting, but I think it's reasonable price in Japan, and looks cheaper than Shinkansen.
Shikansen is 125$... and faster..2h15.
I think you have slow day train for less than night bus..
The headrest is an elevator. Stops at all floors….😂🤣😂
I love your Videos. Pls never stop. =)
I love your videos, they are so relaxing.
this looks really enjoyable and kind of like an adventure.
Love your humour and videos man.
Gracias por la diversidad de subtitulos!
love your videos - informative, entertaining and very often laugh out loud funny 🤪 thank you for sharing your adventures x
I love your sense of humor...😂😂👍❤....restroom in the bus..👍👍👏
I love your sense of humor! ^w^
🤣🤣🤣🤣 that curtain had me cracking up!! Love your videos ❤️
I had to make that drive from my home town to Little Rock AR recently, and, lemme tell you, I'd much rather let someone else drive so I could sleep.
I give all my support to better infrastructure in the US for this kind of travel...Not even joking.
I really like the colors..very beautiful and elegant
thank you "solo solo" really enjoyed the trip and love your little jokes!
Very funny!
And love seeing what you eat, Japan has AMAZING CHOICES for meals and snacks, and the many styles of trains, incredible!
I have loved trains all my life. If I won the lottery I would definitely travel on Japan's wonderful trains.
Thank you, your videos are always detailed in instructions and fun to follow.
May you have much more success on CZcams and get ONE MILLION FOLLOWERS this year, so we can see more of your travels. 🐨🐨😇😇
hi ..enjoy your trip i will to watching from New Zealand 🙂
“Let’s drain what I just had” 😂😂💗😂😂
So many good ideas in Japan. Greyhound should watch this. I took a bus from. NY to FL in 1998-ish. The experience was a nightmare. So many stops & bus changes all night. The busses were filthy & crowded. Never did that again. I would in Japan after watching this.
Try Greyhound in the early ‘70’s. Little over 400 mi from Jacksonville NC to the s. central PA area. 14 hr of (seemed like) every town. I don’t recall 95 being completely done so it was off-on, off-on. 14 hr seemed like 14 days.
@@petegregory517 that's by design. Moto lobby.
Wow time flies when i watch this channel.
Literally since finding your videos, I am always looking forward to your jokes and sarcastic comments. If I ever get to visit Japan I hope to maybe have a travel buddy like you.
It looked like those curtains didn't give you the privacy you expected, but the seat looked comfortable.
Another great video! My goodness, that’s the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen!
Thanks for another interesting tour.
Aloha..🤙
i am so glad that that i have found your channel! I dreamto visit Japan one day. I mean in a real life, when all this pandemic will be over. Ioads of mlve from Russia
Videos are so soothing
Im from India it feels like I'm being part of your journey and it's amazing!
$80 isn't bad for a sleeper for that distance. Thanks for the video and commentary 👍😎
That is amazingly cheap, its 30 dollars for cross country trips in Southeast Asia in really old buses where people are packed like sardines.
Yo they need bus lines like this here in the states. That looks more comfortable than the regular charter buses
great videos, I miss Japan so much. Greetings from Italy!
“You can have a preview of the winter season by sitting on it” - the loo 😂😂😂😂😂😂 You really are so funny 😆
Love it!! More please😊
So enlightening and entertaining.
Had to laugh at the combination of the mask, sleep mask, and the glasses - you looked like the title character of that old movie "The Invisible Man" 😂.
I love the distance references always including San Francisco since I’m from there 🙌🏼
시끄럽고 말많은 영상보다 이런 영상이 너무 좋아 플레이 리스트 전부 다 봤음
So much better than the crazy sleeper bus i took in thailand once which i was sure i wasn't gonna survive the trip.
Thank you for showing the on bus toilette. My anxious brain was convinced that the 2 service breaks were restroom breaks.
Really enjoying your videos. So interesting to see places that I might never visit. Plus, you have a great sense of humor.
Cheers! 👽🖖"Na-nu"
That was one good video. Your seat look very comfortable even though you thought it was cursed. I literally had to stop the video because I was laughing so far. Yeah yeah it would be your luck you get the cursed seat. when you showed you where the eye and face mask with glasses on. The first thing I thought how is he able to breathe. You're going to smother in your sleep LOL keep up the good work
Thank you for this video i can see the mount fuji with my night vision eyes 😳😳
Well, we barely have seats.thank you for making me dream
greetings from Italy
I really find none commentary Japan travel videos like this really comfy. Glad I’m able to find another channel that does that. The subtitles used too is really funny and nice xD
Let’s all remember now the cursed 7C
Thank you, that was fun :)
This looks logical way to get to Osaka and save time
U are so funny... 🤣🤣🤣I enjoyed it.
I bought that supposedly warm eye mask from a pharmacy and it was chillin' on my eyes😅. Corn soup in a can, hot one at that👍
Нет слов! Одни положительные эмоции 👍
Muy buen video, siento que también yo estuviera viajando
I love your adventures! Zooweemama! 😂♥️😊
Good video my friend,thank you.Dave.🇬🇧
Дуже класний огляд, дякую за роботу!)
being over 6ft. tall I'd hate to try doing a #2 on the bathroom bus!! thanks for another great video!
I was in that bus almost 10 years ago. so reminiscent.
Very funny video. And with your eye mask, face covering, and eye glasses you did a good impression of the 'Invisible Man' 🤣.
Precioso reportaje.muy interesante.gracias⚘💥🎊🇨🇱
I’ve been binge watching your old videos in order newest to oldest and I think this is the next one down the line but I’m getting confused 😂 anyway..I’m about to watch this but first a pause so I can grab some rice to eat while I watch your vlog. I know now to be prepared when your food arrives looking delicious and I get hungry looking at it. Btw my nickname for you I’ve decided will be “ Hitori “ ( sounds like I’m calling you History 😂) I’ve been practicing my Japanese lessons and learned Hitori Tabi just for you. So..hold on Hitori while I grab some rice..I’ll be right back 💃💃💃💃 ok I’m back..lets go..
私は日本人の清潔さが大好きです。 スイスからのご挨拶!
わかりやすかったです。ありがとうございます
Lol....it great you have a sense of humor....can't imagine having that (over night bus) here in America....
Watching from Los Angeles.. this was fun.
You are just way to funny. The cursed 7C seat and the hot eye mask. You make me laugh and smile. thanks. 🙂
I love your sense of humour.. cursed seat 7C lol
Morar no país do sol nascente é outro nível!!
