  • Hey everyone I just thought I post my first commentary video about our mostly stock 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali with the LQ4 block with 317 heads both came with the vehicle, MSD Super Conductor spark plug wire set, Edge Products 85250 Evolution CTS gas programmer, Ranch Hand grille guard GGG99HBL1, , 07 yukon denali wheels wrapped in Michelin LTX M/S2 tires now known as the Michelin LTX Defender series tire and all the accessories that you see installed my wife and I installed along the way without professional help except for the viper because I don't feel like seeing my yukon on fire in case I messed up. We bought the Yukon in June of 2013 making modifications to her since then to give the Yukon more of an aggressive stance on the road and I am in no way a professional CZcams content creator yet, but I'm still learning; although, my hope is that this will be the first of many I hope you all enjoy and I want everyone to be please be patient with me, I'm currently going to college right now to get my ATA in Welding with my WABO certifications and that take priority right now but I figured I could at least try for one a week; in fact, my five year goal plan is to get a great job in welding where I can expand my skills and then at the end of five years I will open my own business doing welding fabrication, vehicle painting, welding repair along with doing CoPart rebuilds as well once the money flow is going decently and maybe try to give some DIY help videos also along with some awesome time lapse scenes.
    If you would like to see more be sure to rate, comment if you have some suggestions on what camera equipment I should get, or suggestions on what you would like to see more of on the yukon or me, or comments or questions about me or the yukon and don't forget to hit that subscribe button and turn on your post notifications bell to make sure you get to see all the newest content.
    Anyways I don't think this video was too bad of a train wreck lol, but I will try to do more commentary in the videos maybe even try to do more on camera appearances and I hope you all enjoy checking out the beast.

    I really like that cactus smasher I need one on mine. I cut off that old exhaust system left the cats but now it's too exhaust with old school glass packs and it sounds great and I'm getting another mile and a half per gallon

    Take that stock Muffler off and put a flow master on to go along with that K&N cold air filter set up you’ve already got set up. You’ll thank me later 😂😂
    I’ve got an 05 short body and did the same mods and OMG the difference is insane.

      Still going, had to have the transmission replaced at 192k I broke it parking it on a steep driveway for too long and the parking brake wasn't working, but my procrastination on fixing the parking brake cost me $3300 lol.

      I've got the same one I did the rear air shocks replacement with upgraded coil springs shocks and 2-inch pucks under the springs. I have new keys for the torsion bars but I'm going to need to do the lower control arms first and of course shocks for the front. Stock keys are maxed out. I removed the stock running boards she is looking good. Oh I cut off that old exhaust kept the stock cat setup done with old school dual glass packs sounds great fast as hell 6.0 v8 and I'm getting another mile and a half a gallon. Oh almost forgot I did need extensions for the rear socks as well 2 in

    What’s the secondary battery for?

    • @jds-universe
      @jds-universe  Před 10 měsíci

      My viper alarm is sometimes draining the battery dead and the secondary is for backup, its cut off from the system when the vehicle is off using a 500 amp relay battery isolator, but, once you turn the key the relay turns on connecting the battery and letting the vehicle start without an issue.
