1000% in agreement. The plan is to get rid of all the veterans that fought for our freedom-you can see how they disregard of the elderly people and no consequences for Cuomo in US ; and the seniors home in Eastern Canada. So, the majority left are the younger generation that are brainwashed and shaped to be selfish (me me me…) and making them more cowardly and dumb. They don’t question anything and advocate for the lies they are being forced to believe e.i. carbon tax for majority (we the peasants) with the exception for those that impose the taxes and their Elite family and friends.

One extremely important thing you left out, Jordan. The ruling class - our politicians, senior bureaucrats, and wealthy and well-connected people - aren't really affected. They're getting services the way they always did, they still fly first-class, and their kids didn't have any interruption in their schooling. They don't wear masks. They don't socially-distance. He is motivated to make sense of his suffering; and that is the journey God has given him. Anyway I wish him well. I have not seen the evidence of gnosticism in the things he has said, but I sense he struggles to rationalise the way he sees the world through the lens of a psychologist and what he is learning about his life through Christianity. He is an advocate for peace; and he strives to find meaning in scripture that most of us might miss.

I agree with you that by Jordan's bravery in discussing the faith he is developing he will be influential and hopefully lead people to God. You’re a fool if you believe that all of the unfortunate people out there who aren’t working right now are sick. Your machine point, while true, has no standing in this conversation. All of the things he mentioned were items that couldn’t be taken care of by machines. Because when the machines don’t work, a real human has to step in to fix the issue - and there aren’t sufficient people to do so. The market does set the price of labor.. on both sides. Meaning if someone is worth 50/hr they obviously won’t accept a job that pays 13/hr. But on the flip side, what people refuse to learn or pay attention to, is the fact that if someone is demanding 50/hr but their labor and experience is only worth 13/hr then they won’t get hired. A heavier piece of the blame is on the side of laborers for not pricing themselves properly.

Married worked day and night bought a house, paying the bills, My wife is a English teacher and 12 weeks pregnant. This made us talk about immigration alot, since we felt we couldn't be close to God, ourselves, nature anymore. But still something held us back, this " but here it is safe" feeling. Then my wife got a call this Christmas vacation, telling her contract as a English teacher would not be extended. A blessing in disguise maybe, cause since then we have been planning and working harder then ever, to immigrate to Hungary. We will buy a farm house and go back to nature. We decided to take our faith and put it in the hands of God and ourselves. We are not gonna let life happen to us and pass by, living from lockdown to lockdown. Finances have never been so frighting, be we will make it. We will find our way back to nature, to God, to ourselves. I agree that if ever their was a time to stand on principle, this was it for me. I'm scared of how my future will look now that I am unemployed, but I'm more afraid of what my future would look like had I stayed with the Dept. At the end of the day, when my head hits the pillow, I have to be able to live with myself and my choices. In today's upside down world of lockdowns, regulations, curfews and the intentional demonizing of people's personal medical choices by the Gov, Media and now seemingly my neighbors and family as well, I am not willing to sacrifice what few steadfast values I have managed to hold on to for the sake of conformity. I currently work at a Bank with six wickets for tellers, but often only one or two tellers manning the stations. Everyone is doing the jobs of two, three, even four employees. In my last sit down with the regional manager I wept and begged for more staff and was told in no uncertain terms, there would be no more staff coming. The phone rings constantly rankling my nerves as it gets ignored for the mountain of people at the door. I'm burnt out. My hair is falling out. I have a stomach ache every morning and insomnia and stress dreams every night. But I don't quit because I'm unvaccinated, and while they have mandated vaccines for the bank, I still have the option of testing every 72 hours. Whereas if I was looking for work right now, most companies would just not hire an unvaccinated person to begin with. Ironically, the stress has shot my immune system and I'm sick all the time. But as long as that Covid test is negative, I'm expected at work- cuz science.

If you want to get closer to the Truth (with capital T) read philosophy, become engaged with thinkers (a lot of them, with many opposing views), who actually know what they're talking about (I'm citing Zizek's and Peterson's debate here, a clear example of Peterson's charade) and seek the tools which can help you understand reality by yourself, without having to mirror another person's stances. I'm really sorry to hear about the effect covid has had on your mental health. And I can also speak as somebody who has put their faith in this clown to no avail. I don't want to live in a world where half-baked, politically motivated and insencere ideas are the predominant factors in what I believe. I want to have clear insight into everything, as much as that might hurt me (mentally, I mean. I mention this because of the toll the structuralist and post-structuralist philosopher's have had on my mental well-being, but also the tremendous insight I have got from their works). And that's what you get with thinkes of the antiquity like the athenian philosophers, the philosophers of the renaissance era (the idealists, the new skeptics or later the existentialists) and the more modern structuralist philosophers (or as Peterson would like to call them 'the post-modernists), as mentioned. (Of course, I am ommiting a whole lot of school's of thought and thinkers, but that just goes to show how vast this landscape of knowledge truly is, and Peterson won't even recommend Plato to people). All in all, I don't want to force you to take my advice, but I also don't want you to live in this skewed and nonsensical world that Peterson portrays. I read your comment and felt a little connection to your first sentence, and also felt downtrodden by what you said next. I can speak to you from experience, brother and tell you that this won't cut it. To make an analogy, Peterson is mere opium branded as medicine. I want to recommend to you 3 things: first, a philosophy channel that goes into detail without an agenda: Carefree Wandering, lead by a philosophy professor. This channel also has a good-faith critique of Peterson that I really recommend. 2 of them actually, Peterson replied in the comment section of the first video and Professor Müller replied with another video, which Peterson ignored. The second thing I would want to recommend to you is a Philosophy channel, one that you might actually know: Gregory B. Sadler. There you can start your 'philosophical journey' :)). He is really helpful when it comes to understanding philosophical text that you might read. And lastly, another piece of media that you might know: Steven West's Philosophize This Podcast. A really good source of contradicting ideas and and all around entertaining podcast. It might seem like I'm making philosophy seem like this unbelievable magic pill that everyone should take, but since the actual greek meaning of the word is 'Love of Knowledge' then labeling it as that isn't too far off from what it actually is.
I am sorry for the long comment and I am also sorry for calling you naive at the beginning, but I really want the best for everybody who fell into Peterson's frenzy, it being a topic that I get really fired up about. You are under no circumstance obligated to take my advice. Though, I hope you know, it comes from a good place. Have a nice day!

Also, forgot to say, this video is just a frustrated old man screaming into an abyss. **Inductively** reasoning about what seems to be rather than what is. Some sort of 'Why are you making me take my medication, this is outrageous!' Peterson was outraged by the 'authoritarian' bill c-16 back in 2017 (I think) which would, as he said, lead to mass incarcerations and compelled speech. 4 years later, no arrests, no difference in day to day life, and no reason to believe that canada is an authoritarian state. It stands to reason that Peterson would put himself in the shoes of a prophet again.

Hello Ron, I wanna start by saying that Jordan has had from what I can tell a really good impact on my life in my journey to essentially build habits to counter act my bad habits that usually lead to me not doing what I need to do to get to where I want to be. From what I can tell, he is a fantastic character and the amount of times I feel he could have disappointed me with something like an oversimplification, it feels like he really hasn’t. I wish to know why you dislike him so freaking much and his ‘movement’ or stances since 2017 and those viral interviews. Aside from that, please tell me of a channel that provides this well rounded philosophical perspective on stuff and topics and ideas, since according to you, Jordan doesn’t cut it in that regard or any other regard really.

Even people in London, during the Blitz, decided to go back up to the streets and continue living, being social and conducting business. Not because it was safe. Not because they weren’t afraid, but because they refused to wither away. They refused to live in that fear and let it consume them. I have seen this level of social, economic and political decay before in my life time. It is in the history books and works of science fiction that came from it.
