So to clarify: I will not be able to use any of the model expansions on a Fantom-0 with just my Roland Cloud Ultimate subscription, and I will need to buy them separately at 150 euro's each? That's a little steep for me. I'm still torn between the fantom-0 series and the MPC key 61. The whole Roland cloud integration with the Fantom-0 hardware would be great. But I guess you can't actively check if a subscription is active from the Fantom-0 series.

czcams.com/video/xtx_0C1_0pA/video.html It's worth noting that when you play a midi file, the Fantom 0 will recognize the time signature changes. If you have to have a backing song with time signature changes, go with that route.

5:33 - When I combine 4 sounds (Piano, strings, pad and bell at the top end) my Fantom 08 begins to cut out 🙁

I've ran into this problem as well. The Supernatual Pianos seem to eat up a lot of voices.

I know someone who owns the 08, who said the same. For us church musicians, who work with layers, this is not great. And for this reason, I'm considering Yamaha Montage instead.

I've played with the modx which to my understanding is basically a Montage and it's the same problem. What I've found that slightly helps is not sending all my sounds to the sustain pedal. That way I'm only sustaining the piano and strings/pad

Always begin a synth review with the overview of the architecture: engines, polyphony, oscillators, filters, envelops, LFOs, AT poly or mono, tone editing, effects, sampling, pedal inputs, MIDI control, MIDI filters out and in, output pre-amp level, DAC, UI. This way I know within a few minutes if this keyboard is for me. Don't make us wait an hour please.
