Rewatching this, that line can be seen as Skylar testing Walt. He's told so many lies covered up his emotions, so after telling him that she cheated on him, she's testing how much he can cover up his feelings in front of Walt Jr. and Louis.

I never hated Skylar in this scene as much as other fans do. We're conditioned to sympathize with Walt because the story is primarily told from his perspective, but when you take into account his emotional immaturity it totally makes sense that these two would end up together. What Skylar does here is completely petty and stupid, but so was Walt's decision to not take the job at Grey Matter.
Finally, a person who understands. Honestly, Skyler is actually just the most overhated character in BB, and I can assure you that most of the Skyler haters have only ever watched the show once. They've only ever seen Skyler from Walt's perspective, but if you look at Skyler's perspective you will be able to understand why she does some questionable things. Her husband is literally a drug manufacturer folks. So you're telling me that your reaction when you find out that your husband/wife is actually a drug dealer would be "Oh wow I never realized that you were such a great person. You did all this for the family? Wow, you're such a hero"?!?!?
@@justarandomguywholikesanime The fact that people claim that Skyler cheated on Walt when she had been trying to divorce him and he broke into their house and pretended like nothing was wrong and made her look crazy and vindictive in front of their son and the police; would you really stay faithful in an unwanted marriage to someone who constantly lies and gaslights you?
@@ifeelpretty5790 yeah. I was only ever annoyed by Skyler in the first couple seasons because she kept getting in Walt's way, but that was because I was still in Walt's side

@@dehistoriapisciumfish7639 Thank you, person with a brain. She tried her best to get Walt to leave her and her family alone the conventional way, and he held her prisoner. If she had to wound his ego, then that's what she was ready to do to go free. Good for her.
Funny thing is, Ted was never in danger for this. Walt never hated the guy. Yet, he was scared shitless about Heisenberg vengeance.

Skyler was the one in the wrong here though. I'm not a fan of drug dealers but I'd side with one over a cheater.
Well. Skyler doesn't have a killcount, so there's that. I'd also point out that she never would have cheated if Walt never became a drug dealer. She's not innocent in the slightest but she deserves a little slack given the situation she was put in.

Interesting camera work here. When Walt looks at his family, he is looking at them through his kitchen. This is called a frame within a frame and is symbolic of he is completely distant from his family or maybe they from him. You decide.

Çünkü o bir eskort
What really kills me about this scene is earlier that same episode when Walt’s telling Skyler about the money, it really comes down to a “yes or no” type ultimatum about it where she doesn’t give him an answer at first. Walt really expected one or the other here & she gave him a third answer he never expected even slightly.
There’s also a subtly official implication of her. Now that she knows where the money comes from, she can’t just up and leave or report him without it all crashing down on the family. She knows how this works, since she’s seen Ted use more insidious ways of fudging financial docs.
And then he went on to ruin everyone else's lives...if skyler just asked him to turn in the money or leave the family ...that would have been perfect ..but nah she does the dumbest thing possible in the whole world

"Ted is not in danger.....TED IS THE DANGER"...
🤦🏽♂️😂
And when a guy opens a door and gets shot and someone think it can be him, no, he is the one who knocks 👍
@@s.v.298 no he’s the one who knocks up other people’s wives
@@platinumsellingbitch. thats right
No other show has ever made me actually feel anxious and guilty after every episode as Breaking Bad, the greatest
I can't believe Walt would use a premade salad dressing. A homemade vinaigrette really takes a salad to the next level
I hate dressings
I love that the writers put Walt on an apron making a salad to add to the hit on his ego and feeling almost emasculated when Skyler delivers the news.
This was the exact moment that not only did Skyler hold all the cards, but all the Salad as well.
😂😂😅
A,d she got her salad tossed as well...
Like future once said she belongs to the streets
Walt: “It’s okay Skyler, so did I.”
This is an incredible scene, when I first watched this series for the first time I related so much with Walt that it felt like she said it to me directly. Just goes to show how well made of an episode this is.
such a well done scene. at 0:17 there is a paper tower silhouette of skyler, which foreshadows she is actually a paper towel. incredible directing
Based.
Damn bro what kinda of pain have you felt?
Damn that was cold

Pratheek I jacked off in a tissue
Walt going to the dark side made complete sense given the context
She wanted to hurt him in the worst way possible so that he would leave.
Skylar is the one who knocks (boots).
Hahahahaha
Imagine your loved one saying that to you. Holy mother of God, I'd turn evil
👍
In Walt's case, he already had.
Same here i don't think I could control myself if I was in his position
You can't be evil if you already did evil things
I had... I lived that my exgf cheated on me when we were living in our little apartment... I remember saying nothing to her.after finding out and walked away to take a cold shower, i say nothing to her afterwards
