  • Within 40 years, more than 80% of South American wildlife has vanished. While the Earth is undergoing its sixth mass extinction, the North-East of Argentina has been preserved thanks to the joint efforts of a visionary couple and the Argentinian people.
In the 1990s, Kristine and Douglas Tompkins left the textile industry to devote themselves to the rewilding of the Corrientes province. Their donation of 60,000 hectares to the Argentinian government has enabled the reintroduction of extinct species, such as the tapire, the giant anteater, the pampas deer, and the jaguar.
This hopeful movie follows the battle Kristine keeps fighting hand in hand with the local population. Together, they take care of the national parks and the rare species that live there, to secure a better future for them.
