This was a highly requested one, and with Mortal Kombat 11 coming out just a few weeks ago, I knew it was about time to make it happen!

Just for the record boys, on fact 15, I did mean to say MK9 (2011) rather than Mortal Kombat 11< as he's obviously not in the new game. Just a small mistake that slipped past me, but I assume most of you knew what I was talking about anyway.
On a separate note, thanks for all the support on this one, lads. Had a lot of fun making it, and I'm glad you're all enjoying it! Much more to come as we continue pushing forward.
He actually wasn't in mkx because a petition of tremor beat him out...also chameleon and many other ninjas you can find dead in the krypt...

Rain is my favorite character but I feel like he's so underrated and unappreciated. He needs to be included in the next installment of Mortal Kombat games but as a playable character because he has some of the coolest fatalities and I wish we could have gotten a chance to see his fatalities in Mortal Kombat 11. Hope that changes with either MK 12 or MK 13

Ravathiel To the fandom it’s the exact opposite. Rain fans (alongside Mileena fans) are probably the most rabid fans of the community. NRS is unappreciative towards Rain yes, but they are more than aware of Rain’s popularity.
As far as I know the DLC has yet to be announced so don’t count him out

Difference being that waluigi isnt originally a Nintendo creation so that’s why nintendo limits him to side games and never into the main series :( but I love both of them

I can Confirm that Rain is fighting Blaze in the Krypt in Mk11, I literally had to get up close and personal to tell, but also if you compare the fighting animation between the MKX Pit stage ana the Krypt in MK11, you can see that they are identical, the only difference is that Rain's Design in MK11 Krypt has been upgraded to were his ponytail is much longer, his outfit has much more gold and his outfit has almost an egyptian style to it.
I think it's actually Fujin. He had a longer ponytail and the outfit you're describing. Also, if you watch it long enough he does Fujin's whirlwind attacks.

You're right. Looked into it again. Also the Ninja that falls isn't always Rain either. I had Smoke and Tremor fall as well.

Whenever he does his roundhouse kick, I always kinda just imagined that he makes his opponent teleport to the other side using his water powers offscreen. Like how he’s able to teleport by turning into water

Good one. I never kept up with the series as a youngster and was shocked to discovered he was an already established character by the 2nd reboot installment. I always wanted to know about the man. It feels like he is in that strange position where he clearly has enough popularity for him to be included in each installment, but not interesting enough for people to dive further into his background history.

The first time I completed Ultimate MK3 I used Rain... Now it's a sweeter victory 💪🏼💪🏼
In my own opinion they must include a new power for Rain. He should be able to control water thermally and how it does its cycle in games. (water temperature control, evaporation, humidity, cloud forming, precipitation, condensation, and etc.) His gist is a water bender. Why not allow him the ability to shoot hot boiling water, form small clouds, fog, oceans, waves, or let the rain the cloud drops be hot boiling droplets. It instantly makes him more menacing than his current pitiful water manipulation. Doing this allows the character to do more creative fatalities be more interesting entertaining players.
I feel like characters like rain and other characters that don’t get to much spot light should really shine and show up as one of the main characters in mk 12 or something like that.
That is my one wish for future mk games
rain comes off like a G in Mortal Kombat conquest, i love that show its a great showing of MK, yea its from the 90's so it follows those tropes but it shows a more realistic version of MK ( yes there is magic but they really they barely use it and when they do it really drains them)

I think Rain can strengthen his kicks by making the water vapor in the air make a speedy gust of wind or increasing his muscle mass by putting more water into his muscles

Wow, the New timeline and the current devs working the MK games must really not like Rain or something. I mean first, you have him appear in the story of MkX. Fight him in MkX twice I think. Know fans are going be asking for him as DLC. But still won't give it to them.

Is that even though rain's color is purple, and purple doesn't realy make sense for a guy who shoots water mostly. Purple does fit with Rain being a prince. Since medieval times, the color purple is always associated with the upper class or Royalty. Because Purple is such an expensive color to have. Having purple alone in medieval times basically means your hella rich

Broccoli Broom there’s almost nothing on Chameleon (Kameleon is the female). He’s probably the most mysterious mk character
I won't be doing one on the Chameleon just because there's legitimately no information about him, and for that reason, I talked about him during my video about Reptile instead.

Fact #26: in 2004 Midway Games were in the middle of a financial crisis so Rain being the Good Samaritan he is traveled to Spain and made a huge profit selling weapons to a guy named Leon, however it was discovered this was all an attempt to make the cut on MK Deception’s roster
I wish Rain would be put in installments more often. We pretty much only ever get him as DlC in some games if we are lucky. It’s a shame because he really is such a cool character and the creators decide to make up stupid uninteresting characters to put in games instead.
I really wish they’d stop adding stupid characters and focus more on favorites we haven’t seen in a long time. I don’t need to play as Superman or Joker, come on now.
