If you could that would be great your knowledge on this matter is excellent! Love your videos man keep it up! I have some crazy stuff I need help with! I'll give you a cut of the money! 🤙
I have a Georgia 1999 that looks as if the bat face from 2000 ... I know it's a year ahead but... u have to see this and I have another one that's unreal looks like it was stuck in the machine at the mint.. it's crazy both of them I think but need a professional opinion
Love your videos man! In been in to hunting currency for a while now. I just found a us currency dollar bill that I can see the back through the front and the front through the back! Are they worth anything I would love to show you let me know if possible and how to submit a pic to you some how if possible thanks!
Only problem is that's a Philadelphia minted quarter not a Denver. The double die is only on the Denver minted coin. Look closely at the video. There is no d mint. Mark on that quarter
@@thecoinchanneltube you should have still used a correct example of the correct coin in the video. That coin at the start of the video is a Philly plain and simple... The DDO that you are referring to is only on the 1776-1976 D-minted coin.. So you are telling me that in this video you gave me/others the correct information that I/we need to make an informed decision!!!! I SAY NO you are not and therefore not helping anyone else out.. someone will think they have that exact quarter and send it into a 3pg and spend upwards of $80 to $200 bucks of there hard earned money for a quarter that is of the WRONG MINT and that quarter be only worth 0.25 cents.... this is how your video hurts and dose not help ppl.. you don't even explain that the DDO is only on the D mined Quarter.. but yet you did show the correct minted quarter at the end of the video of the Obevers/Reverse of the coin.. when you do show us the doubling of the R.E.B this to me looked like mechanical doubling BUT... in typeing this reply I was looking up PGCS to make sure that I am telling you and whoever reads this the correct INFORMATION .. so i accidentally clicked on the 1965 quarter and it had a ddo for the Philly quarter. Looking at it looks awful like the doubling u showed in the video of the R.E.B I do like your videos and shorts but please show the RIGHT errors/mint marks. make sure your giving out the CORRECT information or make sure you telling ppl this is not the correct coin but that it's an example..you did not even say that in the video that this is an example. i truly thought that this was the followers quarter! the doubling you are showing in the video is wrong for this 1776-1976 D quarter the doubling you showing is of north/south the true doubling for the 1776-1976-D is east/west. you can look this up a the pcgs website
@thecoinchanneltube - Then you should have explained that clearly in your video instead of misleading anyone watching. Are you just trying to sucker a bunch of people into submitting useless coins? Do you get a kick back from PCGS? Does PCGS know you are misleading people in their name???
Reason: the quarter in this video is worth 25 cents. It's not doubled die its machine doubling. The famous quarter with doubled die came out of denver. This is a philly. So dont try and find this one. Just more misinformation from this channel. He does it daily. Check the comments you can tell the real collectors from the hype. This guy just wants views. He is horrible for noobs trying to learn. He is actually promoting all the stuff us collectors have been fighting for years in the forums when noobs post on the forums. That one will set you back 249 bucks to get a calendar, tee shirt and 8 free coin grade for free .but you have to pay shipping both ways +the cost of insurance that they charge when they send the coins back so still paying almost 40 to 50 bucks out of pocket they cheapest one is 69 bucks with no freebies but you get to send in as many coins as you like for one yr. but you will be paying for them on a grading scale.... Not worth it if your sending in 1 or 2 coins as shipping is a additional cost to the coin over all cost if you send in one quarter an a half dollar the shipping to pcgs is around 5.00 to 15.00 depending on your shipping carrier but return shipping is what going to kill you it wil 27.00 in shipping insurance alone.... The total cost for pcgs would be 34.00 grading fee 10.00 handling fee and 27 for shipping insurance for a total of 71.00 for those 2 coins now those 2 coins . quarter is now 35.75 that's 35.50+.25 and the half dollar is now 36.00 that's 35.50 +.50. if they do not grade what you want and trust me they WILL NOT grade what you think they should you'll be under water in no time o and that's just grading NO EXTRAS like verity attribution that's an extra 20.00 pre coin o and do you want true view photos of your coins that will be another 5.00 per coin
I am not sure how to send you a message. I just found a 1982 penny that weighs 3.11g. Is this the correct weight for that year? I have checked it against all my other pennies, and they all weigh the same 2.55ish. I'll post a short video on my prospecting channel CGT Prospecting Adventures
82 is when they changed compositions there are many varieties the 3.1 is copper the 2.5 range is what they switched to and if you have a 82 small date d mintmark variety weighing 3.1 that's the most valuable
First of all, it's DOUBLED die, not double. Second, this is machine doubling, a VERY common error on the bicentennial quarters. There is a miniscule community that collects machine doubled coins, but they sell for pennies on the dollar compared to a true DDO/DDR.
Yes he's right though. You can usually tell machine doubling because it's always aligned right except for one direction. It will double high or low ,but it won't be a little high and a little to the side.

As a fellow drummer, I'll gladly send you one, buddy.

Where should I send you one for examining the eligibility to be certified?
What's the flute error on the murcry dime?
I have 4 of them. Should I submit all 4 to be cetified?
How can I send you a picture of a quarter I found. It looks like it has an error
I keep every bicentennial quarter I see. 😊
What's the price roughly to have a coin certified and graded?

If you have 2 drummer boy quarters you would only have 2 in. 860,000,000.00+ chance to have a DDO and that's if they both are of the D mint mark
Can you please do a video on 1972 no mint mark off center strike
