    This might be the coolest budget projector ive seen so far, lol. At first I thought it looked cheap, but as I saw it more, it really grew onto me.
    Im tempted to wait, but I'm also tempted to just gamble and get it at the low price it is now, lol. Decisions decision.
    Either ways, great review Eric! I would love to see some laser and UST projectors hit the channel. I'm looking to upgrade my old BenQ W1050 soon but cant really decide on one yet.

      Definitely a solar projector the price. True retail value, I'd say this projector should be somewhere around $800

    For $300 this looks like a killer deal. I dont need another projector, but at this price how could I say no? Backing soon.
    Thank you for the coverage!

    That little leg is definitely interesting but unless you always put it in the same exact spot, im not too sure how useful it would be.
    Auto this and that are great, but overall for the best picture, you want to try and align it the best you can first. THEN, thats when you let the projector do any little corrections if needed. The auto is great, but not so great if it's gonna drastically degrade your image.

    How much does it weigh? Looks good but I d like to use it as a portable projector

    Looks good but the projector itself looks a little too big to be portable

    Does it really look like 2000+ lumens or is that just marketing?

      I would really like to know, as well. Maybe @ 6:47 Eric Hernandez can do a brightness test and come back to this comment 😅

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před měsícem

      It's either truly 2000 lumens or very close to it. I have a BenQ HT3550 which is 2000 lumens. The benQ cost almost $2000 so it's in an entire different class when it comes to picture quality..but as far as brightness goes..this one is very close, if not just as bright.

    Really odd decision to use all that extra space just for the speakers. too big

    Definitely not 2000 ansi but I would like to see how it looks with lights on in the room even if it gets close to 1000 ansi it might be a good deal. Led cannot get to that high of ansi lumens because of the nature of the led panels used.

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před měsícem

      Im not sure what you mean.. LED projectors can get just as bright as DLP projectors. BenQ, Optoma, and many other large projector brands make many projectors that are 2000 lumens and more
      Regarding the image brightness, I would say the 2000 lumen rating is either correct or very close to it. My home theater projector is a BenQ HT3550 which is 2000 lumens. The image is definitely in an entire different league as it's a projector that costs 6x what this one does..but as far as brightness goes, it's definitely right there with it. Both will get pretty washed out in a brighter room even at 2000 lumens, but it's enough to leave it very visible and usable still.

      @edgee400 Před 29 dny +1

      @EricReviews in the budget range which this one is the led panels cannot handle the temperature at such high levels for much time they will over heat. Many manufacturers have tried to push the limits and keep the budget price but they had little success the sub 300 range can get close too 1100 to 1000 ansi but the unit has to be significantly larger and high output fans to get the necessary cooling. But the experience with such loud fans and brighter but washed out colors was not optimal.Haprun magicube, wanbo all had similar issues with unhappy customers due to constant overheating. Once you step up in materials the price is significantly higher but they can handle the extra heat and maintain a good color gambit. I'm just going by your video and if a proper ansi test is done I bet at most you'll get is about 900 to 1000 lumens doesn't mean it's not a good projector but they all fudge the numbers. If it really is 2000 ansi then any ambient light should have very little effect on picture quality. Unless your opening the shades and blasting the room. But just my educated opinion. Enjoyed the video though.

      @@edgee400 Good to know. That makes sense, especially with more budget projectors. I know car headlight have giant heatsinks from the LED, so I could see how that would be needed in the projector as well. Thank you for the detailed reply and breakdown!
