One of the biggest struggles when creating a better version of you is not falling back to your old mindset that you're so used to. The name of such a process is called killing your inner beta. It takes practice and perseverance.

I was always stuck in this mode to be a people pleaser. And when it did not pan out in some cases, It would make me angry and resentful. Then one day it occured to me that I can serve others but not everyone. And what they thought of me is non of my business and don't rent out the mental space worrying about it. How do I feel about me when I look into the mirror? Honestly..... And when I have something on my mind or discover a flaw in my character when exposed to a situation that is novel to me, I work on it until it no longer has that effect on me internally. Being me is a lot of work, but it is important work because I have a family that counts on me not to lose my shit when someone cuts a loud fart in the schema of life. I know that's a terrible metaphor but, that is actually a small quirk with me that I ain't giving up. Yeah, I had a lot of beta moments in my younger years, not anymore. Beta only makes you an easier target for those situations out there that are keen on picking up on it. And I am not in any way referring to men who have femininity characteristics either, this is where I disagree with this video has to say about the current state of men. I have many friends who are either gay or have feminine attributes. You do not want to underestimate the damage they can do when its called upon. So do not disrespect them for being that way. I also believe to be a good alpha, you show love and respect to others regardless of their attributes, we are all supposed to protect our friends and family from any and all threats. The irony of that I have found so far in my 51 years on this planet, is that the threats that I have been exposed to are usually from betas. chew on that

Thanks so much for sharing man, love to read these! Just to clarify, with the current state of men being ‘feminine’ I don’t really mean sexual preference or being gay. But more so the fact that, for example a lot of boys are being raised in single mother homes, that the school system is designed more for girls than for boys,… I think we’ve had a lack of positive masculine influence for our boys for quite some years which have turned men ‘feminine’.

​@@brothersinc I should have listened to my inner voice before clicking "post" I think I was projecting what others may infer and the focus was instead on your video instead. That was all my fault. I believe the word we are looking for is in the "METRO" hue of the arc, and your video is absolutely on point. Forgive the monkey, no bananas in the fridge. And more importantly, thank you for these videos, As a father of a son and daughter of dating ages, It gets really confusing when you are having young men show up at your front door to take your daughter on a date and they start giving her makeup advice -- I have to take a deep breath in and just trust that my daughter will protect him should they get into a situation with a bully. But I love these kids, they have good hearts, we raised most of them as a village, and we never injected any existential b.s. of ours into their heads because they have their own way of seeng the world whether it lines up with ours or not. again back to being easy targets. Its just scary for us older folk as we cannot walk them thru life hand in hand every step. Have a great night.
