At least Sheldon was try to help the customer.
And the same time others are paid to help the customers 😢
@@BhargabpPaul-nx2zqyeah, but they don't know how to do the job.
@@lennart94 penny even force a employee to do his job🤣
All he had to say was “I do know. But I don’t work here.” But of course, Sheldon being Sheldon wouldn’t do that. And you would think the customers would realize that he’s not wearing the “Best Buy” uniform (cmon we all know who they’re pretending to be)
I side with Sheldon here (except for almost ghosting on the birthday party) but as far as all the rest of it, it was nice to see Sheldon be nice. Not to mention I’ve had jobs similar to the kind of retail they’re describing here, truth is the company really doesn’t care. They just want employees who stock shelves, clean messes and don’t “waste time” with customer interactions. They don’t even give you any training to know about any of the products anyway :( just “point the customer in a direction so they can go buy something”
1:03 I like how the customer is like "You know what, he has a point"
lol. I didn’t notice. It makes it even funnier. Thanks!
The lady's reactions at 0:59. She went from a shocked "What?" to a "Ooooh! Burn!" smirk.
"Yes, well apparently neither does anyone else."
Best line.
I also liked how the woman nodded in agreement 🤣
This is how I feel when I go to BestBuy
Can criticize him however they want but it seems Sheldon was doing a better job than the real employees 😂😂😂😂
Whenever he wants he can do better than anyone at almost everything (except for driving) like when he worked at the cheesecake factory
@@benlange7124 that's the real reason a lot of people hate him. Sure he is annoying but everyone else is just as difficult to put up with, they criticize him for it while tolerating it in themselves.
If he were to actually work there the computer store couldn't afford him. The less competent employees are what they're willing to pay for.
Wow, I saw a different side of Sheldon. He was so helpful.
I don't think you've interpreted the show well if you think Sheldon is this out and out bad guy.
He is only helpful when it comes to his likeness of things and topics of him
He can also lie and keep secrets if he wants to have things for him but not orhers
@TshiamoDre so good guys advocate for Murder, Torture, oppression and human rights violations?
@@TshiamoDreindeed, like most people
Sheldon likes to let people know that he is a person who knows many things; he also likes to tell others what to do.
It is obvious that he is willing to give advice on what device to buy.
It's not different from the usual Sheldon😂
"And please don't say a white one"
"A gray one."
I new a guy who had a red one
😅
😂
A yellow one. I'm a chain smoker.
Apple: 😮
"What kind of computer do you have, and please don't say 'a white one'."
As the resident IT person of the majority of my family and most places I've worked at, I related to this SO hard.
It hard when you speak different languages even if you both speak English.
I'm sadly a white one kind of person!
Looks like Sheldon was the best employee there
12
Normally, I would say Sheldon is very obnoxious, but I gotta side with him on this one. He was incredibly helpful to random people and didn't expect anything in return (something he almost never does). Plus, he makes a good point about that password.
Agreeed. Can’t help but notice a similar side effect was achieved when Sheldon was cleaning out the closets of Penny, and then later with Bernadette. Doesn’t seem to care about the effort to be helpful to people, yet provided a satisfying end result , with no obnoxiousness whatsoever.
there are no two sides of which to choose to the part of him just being helpful to other people, no, the "other side" isnt that sheldon was doing wrong by being helpful to customers, thats not what the "you dont work here" was about, the other side is that he shouldnt be hacking into their computers accessing employee information. just like theres a big difference betwen sneaking into someones house in the night while they are sleeping without their permission, and organizing someones space with their complete knowledge, the issue was never "cleaning".
@@Puggalug i don't think helping even was his main intention, but just scratching that OCD itch from seeing unorganized stuff all over the closets
The manager i guess, could've buttered him up and sell him the idea to work for free 😂
I think he was content to let Sheldon keep doing what he was doing, only stepping in once someone (Penny) complained.
*"1-2-3 is not a secure password."* 😂😂😂
1234
4......
He's not wrong
Right, 1-2-3-4-5 is !!!
@@13muller9 1-2-3-4-5. That's amazing. I have same combination on my luggage.
“we don’t have that in stock” kills me everytime 😭😭
Sheldon would do well in a best buy
Right???
he would be fired on day 1 for insulting the customers for paying for geek squad because their psu switch was turned off
One of the few scenes where I actually don't mind Sheldon as much
Sheldon does a much better job than the employees.
That's what I just said, in so many words
he knows more about the products than the actual employees
happens most of the time
The one time Sheldon is helpful 😂
"Yes well apparently neither does anyone else" lol sounds exactly like the kind of thing I'd say
1:02 Sheldon has a point, considering he had access to an (badly secured) computer terminal for what it seems an extended amount of time without anyone of the employes noticing.
I don’t blame Sheldon at all here. Until he went on the computer
To paraphrase Gilfoyle from Silicon Valley. That is not hacking, that is natural selection.
Sheldon happily helping people.
Once while working at McDs in a mall I went to the Indigo book store before work, people kept assuming I worked there and asking me for help and I just helped them find the books they were looking for. At one point someone asked to preorder something and I was like "ok, sure, you'll need an employee for that!" And brought them to a nearby employee. Both the employee and person looked confused like "wait... You don't work here?" 😂
should have told the employee "No, but I'd love to speak to the manager about changing my employment status"
Been there.
"1-2-3-4 is not a secure password."
I said something similar to an employee of an H&R branch in regards to their WiFi network, back when I was a troublesome teenager. They closed down less than a year later.
My favorite is “guest”
Belkin-that is NOT a router password.
Lmao and people are still using 1234 as their password 😂
It’s pretty bad when businesses do though.
yea, thats why i go 10x safer and put 12345 as my password, it's actually close to 10.0040519, but i round it down to 10x safer
Yeah, that's just stupid. It's like they're asking people to hack them. I use 35279752131adg as my password - it's super secure!
Yeah, that's stupid. It's like they're asking people to hack them. I use 35379652477adg - it's super secure!
I'm on Sheldon's side on this one.
Remember that time he spent a whole shopping trip optimising the cheese isle it’s obvious this wasn’t the last time he would take over somewhere without permission
One of my favorite Big Bang storylines! Hilarious! 🤣🤣 And as always, the best storylines involve Sheldon & Penny! Sheldon was so helpful and cute here. And in fact, he was helpful like this regularly on the show. He had a huge ego, sure, but most of the time he was simply right, so it was justified.
Why did Best Buy not hire him after this is my question 😂
The guy couldn’t least ask Sheldon if he’d like to apply for a job there?☺️
Because he's a theoretical physicist? Penny maybe told him that? This is funny because it reminds me of my kid. He's been working at the university lab assisting students, grad students and professors. He started at 17 but everyone thinks he's older and already a qualified engineer, so they have him do the work his boss otherwise would do. He goes into these big box electronic places and immediately starts speaking a different language at me. He'll be trade qualified this summer, but I think he should just go for the BSc in something. He was basically teaching the first years how to build the basics because they'd come to him in the lab with the same mess and same questions. I think he'd go nuts if he had to work in retail. So would Sheldon.
@@TheAccidentalViking I think they could offer Sheldon part time since he already have a job at the Uni.
I think he would actually be really helpful to both the shop and to the customers.
Didn't realize, but this store is supposed to be a parody of Microcenter, which is about an hour to two hours south of Pasadena in Tustin. You can tell by their uniforms.
To me it seems more like a Fry's Electronics
I could watch a whole episode of him just schooling people regarding their tech ignorance passive aggressively
This is me in Target or Wal-Mart in the board games section.
0:58 I love the expression of the lady in the back when Sheldon says apparently no one works there.
1:26 I love that TV show.
😂🤣😂🤣
That employee was really an idiot, penny had to point out where to look
He was as smart as penny😂😂😂
Anyone that can count can easily figure out that password
Rules a lot of peeps out now a day.
that eliminates everyone under 30 nowdays
He was responsive and thoughtful to those seeking advice from him. An occasion in which this character was the admirable one.
As a tech lover I confirm this, I also love to help others in finding tech products😄
"1-2-3-4" 😂😂😂😂
I'm guessing the actual employees don't really give a shit about helping the customers, they were just threated that they'd lose their easy income source because of someone who actually does anything.
I don't know how it does work in the U.S., but in my country the tech stores always have an employee nearby those stations with the computer, and when they aren't there is because they are busy helping another customer.
@@Lorscia Yeah, it doesn't work like that in the US. We are the worst at everything, and it somehow gets even worse with time.
Sheldon, you the sh*t! You crack me up with everything you say and do man! I love this show so much! 😆🤣😂
That's me when every time I go into HMV 😅
What Raj videos do you have available?
Sheldon’s second customer was a creepy killer from my show Cold Case years ago. It was a horrible episode that messed with me 😂. Now he’s out of prison buys technology!
Penny does her best when she treats Sheldon as her child....
He would be so good at this job
Ok we done have that in stock lol
I never thought sheldon would be such a good store hand😂.
Helping others is hard. Except when you love the subject.
I wish they gave more scenes to Sheldon like this. But they decided to show his worse side more and more.
Another scene off the top of my head similar to this, was when he started “working” at the Cheesecake Factory. Is that another scene you consider one that counts for Sheldon scenes you wanted to see?
@@Puggalug thank you for reminding I rewatched it. Kinda. I wish there was more scenes where he is supportive to others. Despite he was kinda rude to Penny he was quite good waiter and give good recomendation to clients.
0:22 makes more sense now after going through computer architecture
When someone mistakes me as a worker at target in my red shirt, I send them to random isles
Funny. Great episode.
The one place Sheldon excels socially and he is not allowed to do anything.
For once Sheldon was nice with strangers 😂
LOL I love being a NERD
Because it would have been impossible to also add the clip where he does the exact same thing at the restaurant Penny works at
I like this scene. I hope they added more scenes where he's not abnoxious but helps people really weirdly.
When a stranger talk about your hobby inpublic and even ask yout opinion about it. Yes, i love that feel too even im not that " good"
When i play game, there is a newbie ask about my build because he dont like what he search on youtube. I leave my build, and he not right so he ask me to show off my build in one match.
He said after all: i love it and will follow you
0:54 employee casually looking around not noticing the obvious..
This actually happened to me
For a Password of 1234, is nearly as fumb as using Password as the Password.
That's on the Level of Spaceballs!
I have a friend that this happens to all the time.
what do you want to do ?
Sheldon was also an excellent waiter compared to the usual staff of The Cheesecake Factory.
As much as Sheldon is inconsiderate and rude, he has a point when confronted with the actual employee there. For one, how incompetent are they to the point where customers and asking OTHER customers? Secondly 1 2 3 4 IS CERTAINLY *NOT* A PASSWORD!
Legend!
Episode
Funny how despite available employees everyone keeps going to Sheldon for help😅
Yes free woker no money 👏🏾😎
Sheldon's been doing much work than anyone there and know's what he is doing
Ah season 1...when things were still so fresh! Cue season 12 and the actors can barely conceive their sheer boredom of what this once great became.
This scene reminds me of this one time my brother used a potion to help heal a friend in an RPG game, and then everyone kept coming to him thinking he was a healer or something when he was anything but.
Sheldon should work there part time.
Remember when shops were a thing 😔
Sheldon can also do Penny's job better than Penny.
1-2-3-4? That’s the stupidest combination I’ve ever heard in my life. That’s the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage.
I wish someone random guy would do my job and I still get paid.
Oh yeah, firewire
yeah the issue was totally that he was helping people and not that he hacked into their computer system
and no one else got any help for the rest of the day...
employee of the month
also not the employee :D
U know it's bad when u have to enlist the help of another customer bc the actual employees r not available or don't have a clue
In the Silicon valley there's more truth to that then you'd think
I can't necessarily say this is a good side to Sheldon. Helping people is one thing, but the OCD need to fix things to his specs, like in the cheese aisle, is when things go overboard. He definitely shouldn't do things like hack the computer, rearrange an aisle etc
I really like this pennys outfit.
Using 1234 as their password is like using the word password as their password
The guy working only gave a crap because a pretty girl asked him to… if Sheldon went there alone, he’d probably still be there helping customers
I had to pause the screen when it went over the games, I just thought it was funny how they had to make the shelves look full and ended up putting multiple copies of the same game all over the place, I found at least three copies of halo 3
I got into a University system recently with 1-2-3-4. Really
At least make the password 1234 period at the end of it.
My wifi password is Sheldon get lost😂😂
Add some capitol letters, numbers, and punctuation marks too.
...and turn on dual factor authentication with a text alert when someone tries to access the system.
...and add some foreign letters or symbols too.
This will frustrate the hashing programs the hackers use to crack your passwords.
Oh crap... I'm doing what Sheldon was doing.
I did that at Walmart a few times once I helped 50 people in electronics and toys
If my spouse over heard someone questioning what speakers and such they should get, he’d wouldn’t hesitate to give advice. 😁
Bazinga
Love that dress!
0:19 No you don't. You need ethernet cabling and a good switch. Range extenders and wifi connections are for hipsters and people who think they know how IT works
Relating to reality, it's sad that there's probably alot of nerdy pple working in headquarters where pples brain could be reliable in nerdy retail and maybe fast food and bzillion more workplaces that don't pay well sadly especially in small towns
Where were these guys, Sheldon has been covering for them and in return they sick security on him that’s gratitude but it’s more like attitude because Sheldon hasn’t charged them yet for his unpaid services.
As usual penny ruins everything
Just like me
