As a beginning blacksmith, even a "junk" hammer would be a great addition to the non existent tools a blacksmith will need. Especially if it came from a great blacksmith.
my dream hammers im gunna make myself are gunna be a Mjollnir for all around work and a Stormbreaker with a strain pein, but as functional smtihing hammers. id love to make a traditional thors hammer shaped one with 2 cross peins cuz the shape of it would be perfect for that but idk how functional that one would be
As far as handle shapes go, the best I’ve tried is Mark Aspery’s, all of his tool designs make for very positive tool indexing . You always know where your hammer head, or chisel is aligned
Awesome! i LOVE the peak behind the curtains of theese production processes from designing making jigs learning from the "mistakes" and the joy it brings when things work out! SO SO SO GOOD!
That's a very nice looking hammer! And the sound it makes on the anvil is lovely. You could chamfer the sharp edge on the inside of the eye to prevent the wood from chipping and breaking. (That's what I have done with all my hammers)
I like for my hammer to have the "chubby cheeks" It looks more "hand forged" and raw and plus it stays thick.. I like it like that. A more custom looking hammer, rather than the same old square corner simpleton. That's just me. I like to have the tools that were made ultra efficiently with the LEAST amount of steps and are still very raw from the process. Rustic and 'unfinished, basically. Something, you can tell, that didn't come from the factory floor. Something full of flaws.. I do like how yours turned out though. Nice and clean; Just not my preference
Possible to buy one of your rejects? Even if it’s not perfect it would still be an improvement over the hammer I’m using now. Big fan or your work and enjoy watching the process.
What do you think about grinding the face the radius from the center of gravity? The same on the crosspeen. That should give the hammer minimun side recoil even if you tilt the hammer.
Really not enough information in this video Clearly there's supposed to be something special here, but the process and result just look like a standard mass produced machinists hammer
Since you didn't weigh it, that would make a great giveaway contest. Guess the weight down to 3 decimal places. The whole hammer not just the head.
Really enjoy the forging process on these! Inspiring !
Perseverance pays off!

Don't ask for free stuff from strangers, it's cringe.

Glad to see you back in the grove! Always great videos but this one is higher quality than most! Thanks for sharing!
Such a great looking design and I am sure the process of creating is as fun as watching you do it!!

I just got my center punch and I am so stoked on it. It is beautiful and I am so happy with it! Thanks Tim!
Very cool design Tim. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On.Fab on. Weld On. Keep forge lit. Keep Making. God bless .
I love the forged texture! I like to leave it on many of the knives I make. Good video sir!
You have good mechanical skills brother. I like to watch your videos first when I need some inspiration❤

Great job. Thank you
Looks great Tim Nicly done.
Make some kiss blocks for the power hammer. It’ll make forging the hammer to the correct dimensions a lot faster
Nice video, as always. Everytime i listen to you saying upsetter i immediately imagine a machine designed to annoy someone... 🤣😅
Really good video. Great idea with the router tool. Must use that. Keep up thr great work mate 👍 😊❤
Rafting axe would be sick

I love your vids! You've really got me itching to try some different style axes!
Still love your titanium hammer more.
It's ok, Tim. Do what you ❤! If you want to work on a hammer, I'll happily watch!
That's a very nice looking hammer!

So when will these be ready to purchase, missed out on the first batch made by Ethan so would really like the opportunity to buy one made by you !
You should make a new titanium hammer
Best part of a new hammer? No break in period
Música para mis oídos! clinnnn
Id love to buy one of your defective hammers.

Could you give a me a few details on the router bit you used, Where did you get it? part number? Love your products and video's.
It is so much fun watching your videos just don't watch them with Galaxy buds in hears🙉 like I did That was a bad idea 💡 yes 😂
hello Timothy
you are super cool. I think it might be interesting to try using this punch lube i saw in torbjörn åhman video on it. it's truly awesome
I see you using train rail a lot for your axes/hatchets and now hammers. What type of steel is it?
Will the punch still be available when the hammers come out? I'd rather order once
Need to know the weight before I buy one… Unfortuatly most my hammers are to heavy for regular use
I'm just gonna ask. Can I have one of those prototype or reject hammers?
Why not mill the eye holes?
Hello from Seattle WA 👊🦊👍 First comment
inconel drifts?
Can you do a BBQ tool set
Whatcha doing with those failed blanks, and are you selling some?
"what you need mate is to put a banging donk on it" ! !!
Why don't you make up a copy lathe, have a look at how they make wooden props for aeroplanes
👋🏻
I’d swing it
2.229 lbs
That’s a very pretty hammer. Make yourself a wood mallet for those wedges or I’ll have an anxiety attack. And quit spilling expensive goop, ffs.
Здравствуйте скажите пожалуйста какой у вас уголь???
Why not remove some metal first before you drift it.
