Crispy Fried Fish with National Fish Masala Made Easy

  • Winter vibes & Crispy Fried Fish made with National Fish Masala - makes a perfect treat for cozy cravings. 🍟❄️🤌🏻😍
    Step 1: In a large bowl, add 1 kg fish fillets followed by 1 tbsp crushed cumin & 1 tsp crushed carom seeds, juice of half lemon, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper, salt to taste, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste & 1 tsp National Fish Masala.
    Rub the spices onto the fish fillets & marinate for 2 hours
    Step 2: Meanwhile prepare the sauce.
    In a bowl add 1/2 finely chopped onion, 1 tbsp finely chopped jalapeños, 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 tsp black pepper & juice of half lemon. Mix well & set aside
    Step 3: Set up the coating station, with beaten eggs, seasoned flour (added salt, pepper, mixed herbs & national fish masala) & bread crumbs. Dip the fillet into eggs, followed by flour & then back into eggs. Coat them well with bread crumbs.
    Step 4: In a deep pan add oil for shallow frying & fry the fish fillets in batches.
    Fry each side for about 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve with fries & sauce! Enjoy!!
