Included on the Greatest Hits CD Over 60 minutes with...Prism, released in 1988.The song was written by bassist Al Harlow, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance
Go to the 42 second mark. That photo is of Dorothy Stratten. If you don't know the story, look it up, it was made into two movies and people still mourn here to this day.
Saw them at a local night club in the mid 90's, they were awesome. Lead singer is Darcy Deutsch on this song. He lives in Vancouver and I believe is a vocal coach.
Darcy has no falsetto. Everything he sings is full voice. I remember running over songs with him in a hotel room and he had to put a towel over his mouth to hit the high notes. Great very powerful voice.
i saw this lineup here in my small town in alberta in the 90s they were amazing i never thought i would see my all time favourite band live , saw darcy come through about a year later with his own band, great singer
Definitely 80s! But it has elements of The Cars. BTW. Mutt Lange produced The Cars before he worked with BA. Speaking of .38 Special, BA + Jim Vallance wrote 2 songs for .38 Special!

Yes, nary a few days go by when I do not recall her tragic end.
pos husband should have done himself and left Dorothy alone.
Killer cut from a band that never got it's roll.
Another cool Bryan Adams song for Prism!

Okay, but their 70's hits are better.
Not a hater, but sounds like an 80's tune generically....kinda 38Special-ish!?
