Wow!!! This finally clarifies things! I have been skipping around from old cassette tapes CZcams, CDs, apps, anywhere to pick up Italian classes. This one (by far) makes it clear, in a logical way. Thank you.

Manu! After several years of working with Duolingo, then Living Languages, and Rosetta Stone, after watching this lesson I finally understood Italian present tense verbs! I was so excited I grabbed a notebook, started the lesson over and took detailed notes!
I know many people don't like grammar, but I am a full-time writer and author; grammar is one of the tools of my trade. Understanding the grammar rules helps me learn the language. 😁😁😁

@@organboi I wish I was joking, but nope. Most of those 'excellent language companies' teach through immersion only. After this lesson, I signed up for Manu's Italy Made Easy program. Manu teaches a comprehensive language program that is understandable. It has been the best program I have ever used and worth every penny. I recommend it to all my friends who want to learn Italian.

This course is a great review of Beginner Italian 1 on Italy Made Easy! Don't get me wrong, in no way is it a replacement to the course, but great to watch when I have a few minutes to really make sure everything sticks. I love that you include pets in the 'tu' conjugation, as I practice most of my Italian talking to my cats, lol. Perhaps I should start speaking to them formally sometimes so I am prepared if needed!

True, at point 4:04 in English the Present Progressive for the future if something is "Planned". There isn't a Future Structure in English like there is in French for instance.
As my English Teacher used to say, "There is no Future" in English. It is a tense that is contructed in fact in 4 ways.

My native language is French so I'm already familiar with the concept of conjugation, however I have a question: What do you use if you want to be formal but there are more than one person? Do you have to use "loro", or can you just go with "voi" ?

This is all good, but why is he not giving us any Italian in the examples of concepts? Why so spare on the Italian? There are amazingly long periods where he doesn't speak a single word of Italian.

Ciao and thanks for your comment! Our method at "Italy Made Easy" stands by teaching Italian in English. Many may argue that teaching in Italian helps improving listening and comprehension skills, but with many years of Manu's experience in teaching Italian we came to the conclusion that students shouldn't practise "listening skills" with important grammar information they need to understand and memorise. We offer specific content in Italian to help students develop their listening comprehension, you can find a playlist "Video 100% in Italian (with subtitles)" on our channel with content specifically created with this purpose in mind: czcams.com/video/ZE-oHrqGqPw/video.html
We hope you will find it useful 🇮🇹
