That’s what I originally said but then again the continuous beeping seem as if it was in the background opposed to from that actual detector so 🤷🏻♂️ I do know those silence buttons almost never work😂
There is usually a cord that runs up through your roof and it connects all the smoke detectors together so if one of them goes off in one part of the building,, all the others off to warn other people in the other part just like an actual school
Mine just woke me up with a bright flash at night while sleeping. I look around in pitch dark thinking…. What’s going on, then it suddenly goes off like a fire! I’m like whaat? Turn on lights, no smoke or fire. So i finally pressed middle button. Turns off. Yea. But why after all these yrs did it do that?!? Mine didn’t twist off totally, stayed connected hanging by wires. Couldn’t figure how to open to change batteries bc of this. Ugh

You briefly push the test button. If your alarm is interconnected one you silence the initiating alarm they all should stop
