Perfect ending for 14 and Donna. Neither end up losing the other and they become more than friends. They become family.

The way I see it, the bi-regeneration and 13’s unusual regeneration were the consequences of the Master temporarily taking over the Doctor’s body in Power of the Doctor.

This is the ending Tennant's doctor deserved. Be happy with your family. To everyone that worked on this, thanks for the happiness you gave to us.
At first I was mad 14 didnt get reabsorbed by 15 but kept living on. But it made me realize how 11-13 suffered so much. The three doctors between 10 and 14 lost so many people they loved and suffered so much. 11 on Trenzalore, 12 in his confession dial, 13 with Flux. 14 being able top retire and be happy after all the pain he suffered in his previous forms was well deserved
I cried. This was the perfect end to 10 and 14's arc. After all that pain, he finally finds happiness and those of us who grew up with him can have closure. It couldn't have been done any better.
I absolutely LOVE that David Tennant gets to be the Doctor forever now!!! AND his Doctor gets to be happy and have a family!!!!
Now, if only he could find Susan's family and introduce them to Donna and the rest.
I know this is a long stretch, but what if this bi-generation is the origin of the Curator? The 14th Doctor settling down with Donna's family to live a peaceful life, and eventually goes to become a curator? Either way, I love this, it's perfect.
I actually started sobbing. he finally get's the happiness that he deserves.

@@Experiment-qj1ownuwho is distinctly different from the classics in that the time war happened between them. That's a lot of baggage for the character, I think it's fair to say trenzalore is a lot of baggage too. He was pretty sure he would die there and faced constant sieges of enemies. He hasn't had proper rest to grieve and to cope and work through anything since the time war. I think that was the point of being happy 14 gets to have a family and stay still for a little while. Just my opinion though.

He (and 10) Deserve this, as does Donna, after all 10 made her a better Person and so did 14 when he gave the memories back. We've got Ncuti and Tennant now as the Doctor and Tennant and Tate could always return in a supporting Role. ESPECIALLY Donna now that she works for UNIT, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if 14 (re)joins UNIT, i mean he'd be of incredible help.
The new Doctor is terrible already.
Russell T Davies knew what we all wanted before any of us did. Tennant's already had the sad grand regeneration, so why do that again? Instead, make him the Doctor who finally gets the greatest reward: travel when he wants, relax with family when he wants.
Still don't know how to feel abt the whole bigeneration thing, but so glad 10/14 got the ending he deserved
I always felt like he was the loneliest and had to go through a lot and to live in peace with his best friend oh man, it's beautiful. Just the contrast of his last scene previously to his laat scene now, it really makes me emotional and it's reignited my love for Tennant too, he's just amazing.
The 14th will eventually become the 15th after he's recovered... I quote the 15th... " I am fine because you fix yourself" it means the 15th is much older than the 14th and knows more, at some point the 14th will return to the point of the split and become 15th my theory... perhaps the same for the tardis... also confirm the doctor is billions of years old go 12th
The bigeneration thing has been hinted at for a bit, so it's not a thing for me, nor should it be. I'm just glad he found a home, finally. I think the saddest Doctors go in order of the 9th, the War Doctor, and himself, personally.
So now 2 companions have their own David Tennant to keep.

I always think stories & actions should have consequences… but on this one, nostalgic, anniversary occasion, I think we should all celebrate the decision to end things happy.
The twist of ‘biregeneration’ was a result of The Doctor being so exhausted, he split into two to survive; his past self free to finally rest & his new self unburdened by the trauma that came before.
For me, this is a genius move to reboot the show with a character no longer carrying the baggage of the last 20 years, very excited for Gatwa… he was stealing those scenes!
As long as the writing decisions come from a ‘serving the show’ intention, to hell with the rules, rewrite them all & let’s have another brilliant 60 years 💙

I'm so glad that Fifteenth is going to leave behind the grief and pain and unrelenting need to run and run and run that all the Doctors of New Who have been carrying around. Seems like a fresh start, seems like healing! This is so good.

To be able to softly reboot the series, like they just did again, is the only way to get to a 100th anniversary.

A absolutely perfect ending for the tragedy of the Doctor, they've made half-baked attempts at this, but the trauma always returned. I think this is the real healing of the Doctor and he can finally live. This is what the 11th Doctor should've done when he regenerated but he just wasn't ready.
Emotional rollercoaster and a re-visit to the adventures and a re-new with the present, what elevated performances, writing and sets, congratulations on your re-join 🎉

I think I like this ending for him (ending for now haha). I wasn't too sure on the spot, because it also felt like it was done because Tennant is the one we all love and it felt like fan service maybe ? You know, 'cause we all wanted him to be happy. But at the same time, I mean... it's an ending which makes sense. He deserves a happy end for once. It's cool he gets to be with Donna, I thought I was never going to see this, and it's quite cool ! I just wanted to be a man not a lord at a time Lord, just a man with feelings that loves everyone and everything. I just wanted people to care about what happens to David if I get pushed way too far I will forget about everyone I ever loved. I’m tired, so very tired of trying to get people understand my thought process. It’s actually annoying how my brain works but now I’m starting a new page in my life and I don’t know how it’s gonna go ain’t ironic. The guy who says he knows everything doesn’t know a thing about his life . I am happy with my life that’s all I can say for now I’m nothing but a simple man who just wanted the world to know that I was here. I was preparing myself for grieving my favorite doctor all over again just like 2009, heartbroken and feeling kinda ptsd gotta be honest, since the show got tied up in real life events for me. But then RTD gave us this absolutely beautiful 'happily ever after' ending for him and Donna and I couldn't be happier, or more surprised, and just.. so relieved and validated and seen. I hope you make more of these vids of the two, you do such amazing editing. Been loving for your videos for so long. Have great holidays

I like how 15 "being ok because 14 fixed himself" was kind of a end to the Doctor's character arc that started in 1963. This is how you do a soft reboot.

Theory I’m putting out there.
What if the creators are fixing broken and sad story lines so that each past doctor spanning from Tennant to Smith, Capaldi, Whittaker… gets their good karma? That would be cool.
It would keep the fans happy and buzzing with expectations, which the bbc can drag out for as long as possible. I’d see it as a win-win for everyone
It further opens the possibility to who the Curator is. The Curator said that the Doctor would settle down and revisit some old faces along the way...maybe the 14th Doctor was the start.
I think this is the point, the issues they are addressing in Tales of the TARDIS and at the end of Power of Tue Doctor with the Companions Support Group. Not sure I like it, as it feels like they are ending the series up to now and starting over with a new show.
Seems that is RTD who can't let David Tennant go...who can blame him? Great video...as always.

I’m one of the few that never really overly liked the 10th doctor that much. It’s wasn’t anything particular, he was just never my favourite. But for some reason the 14th doctor, in the short time we had him, is wonderful & I adored him. Must have been interesting for David to revisit & remould his doctor into something new & familiar & im actually glad he got a happy ending. Extremely excited for Ncuti though. I’ve never seen someone (other than Tom Baker I think) inhabit a fully formed doctor that quickly. And he’s GLORIOUS. Lovely video ❤

Yes and yes. Both are still the doctor like HE him the individual. But 14s trauma from 10 11 12 and 13 just caught up to him to the point was he had to split in two a version 15 that’s trauma free and continues to live on without feeling the trauma and 14 can just retire and be at peace. Has his tardis to travel whenever but has ultimately settled. Theory has it he’s the doctor that can become the curator and if that’s the case and he does visit old faces it allows old doctors to come back like Matt smith.

So the door has been left a little bit ajar for some more Doctor/Donna/Family appearances during the new RTD run. Somehow, I don't think the universe could sustain two Doctors running around so we may be in for some heartache down the road.
Potentially but 14 for the most part has retired and settled down, he probably travels here and there but doesn’t go too far exploring the universe anymore. That’s probably why 15 is so excited to see the universe again.

But has he ever been that happy? It was established he’s not stopped or slowed down since he come onto our screens, and was he that happy growing up, a renegade who would run away from his planet and entire species? Seems to me this is the first time he’s properly belonged

A lot of people said that this was the perfect ending for the Doctor and Donna. They're right in that aspect, but I also think that this serves as the perfect end to Doctor Who itself.
Now, this is absolutely nothing to do with how the latest series is going, but hear me out: We end the 60th Anniversary specials with David's Doctor getting his happy ending and Ncuti going off on his own. David has his own TARDIS after besting the Toymaker: Ncuti has his own to go off in. David can stay on Earth with Donna, Sylvia, Shaun, Rose and Wilf: Ncuti can go anywhere, just as the Doctor always has done. My point is, if the whole sixty year lore of Doctor Who ended with The Giggle, there's still scope to have Ncuti going off on his own, as he has, with David still getting his happy ending.

Great three part episodes and wonderful ending for my favourite doctor. Neither the Doctor or Donna, thank goodness for that. Doctor and Donna's ending was so much better than Rose and the Doctor's end. It brought tears to my eyes! 😭 DoctorDonna for all eternity ❤

Why can’t I just have a normal life? When that be crazy not really crazy is not the word. I would use normal. That seems a bit on the teeth how about life I am not crazy for wanting a life there we go. It makes more sense that way.
