After reviewing the play lol the girl in Yellow did move over as she flinched, but I don't think Alexa actually crossed over into her lane. Its pretty clear in slow motion on tv screen that she stayed within the lines. Unsure of MO section rules but I would have contested. Did you all contest the ruling?

Congratulations Lexi and family for making it to States. I do believe if there was no flag on the 4 X 100 by the official assigned to the first hand off then there should be no disqualification. Why is there a challenge of that decision if everyone agreed previously about challenging an officials/judgement call. It’s appears that another team wanted them out and the decision was changed. Lexi’s team should be allowed to run. Although the video is not admissible, the official was right and there should be no disqualification. Again, no flag, no disqualification. (It’s difficult for anyone else to see anything unless you are standing a couple feet away like the official, this includes, incoming runners who are focused on there hand offs, coaches, parents and any other official not assigned to the first hand off) Lexi’s team worked hard just like all the other teams and it is absolutely robbery to take this from those girls. Officials and coaches stand on your word and don’t be influenced by another’s decision.
Good Job Lexi, so glad that she’s ok…but I’m like her….we got it on camera, we challenging that. She wasn’t nowhere in anyone else lane. They made because her team pulled it together & got it done.
I don’t blame her ! Getting cut by spikes is not fun. I still gotta scar on my leg from a cut from my spikes back in HS and that was about 17 years ago lol 😂
