I am so excited to be joined by Loreen this week because I have been the biggest Loreen fan since she first won Eurovision in 2012 with her song 'Euphoria'. And I have been screaming it in the shower/in the back of taxis on the way OUT OUT, and in Gay clubs across the world ever since - anyone else?!?!
It is an incredible time to welcome Loreen to the podcast as we all know this year Loreen made her comeback at Eurovision with the power ballad 'Tattoo' and in the process became the first woman to win the competition TWICE! But it hasn't been an easy ride for Loreen from starting out on Swedish Pop Idol to becoming a history maker and in this episode she opens up about her difficult journey, talking about how she struggled to fit in and her mental health.
Loreen also chats to me about coming and how she 'always knew' she was bisexual and why pride is so important to her. Plus we talk about those Eurovision nails and the number of injuries they inflicted on her - beauty is pain... clearly!
But what I really loved about this chat was hearing Loreen’s incredibly inspiring outlook on life and I hope her advice about overcoming painful situations and cutting negative people out of your life, helps you as much as it did me!

That is all thanks to Loreen mum who started raising loreen at the age of 15 years old. If Loreen mum wouldn't raise loreen like that then Loreen wouldn't be like that. I must admit that Loreen mum done a really great job in raising loreen while being 15 year old teenage girl

As engineer I will say that if we all start to paint everything the way we see - we would never had those gigantic cruise ships and the benefits of civilization. So there is some space for creativity yet the wisdom of ancestor is the core of our unity as a thriving nation (what ever you are of). Hold your own value and pay respects for those who are worthy. But let's don't forget that most inventions is on Nikola Tesla, a single dude. So hack knows.
Many thanks for this great interview. I adore Loreen❤! But I have an issue: Is she really bisexuel? If she really was, I would be very happy. But in all her interviews she claims to be either single or only talks about boyfriend or ex-boyfriends. No girlfriend at all - she never talks about that she was ever in love with a woman. I know it is her privacy and its ok to keep it privatly. But I do hope that she is not only pretending. Anyway, she is a beautiful and lovely soul, no doubt.

I hate this bs questions, ask her if she's makeing a new album? If yes when? How the sound will be like. You all say eurovision is not political but you guys always ask her like shes running for president. She is a artist ask her about her art.
I lost interest in modern pop culture once everyone started oversharing something as intimate as their sexuality. Nothing but a lame PR trick. Loreen is a great artist. But I don't really care who she's into.
Ever heard of the need for LGBTQI+ role models for people who try to figure things out or haven't told anyone yet they're not straight ...? Visibility is important and then said role models for obvious reasons need to share their sexual orientation publicly. You might not care but it's important to others. Think before you speak man.
@@lightwalker7123 Well I do say this as a gay guy. What they're doing is preaching to the converted in already gay-friendly places. If you're looking for visibility role models, I suggest Dr Nas Mohamed, the first openly gay man in Qatar, spreading the word about their struggles there. Don't assume we have to agree on something because we both happen to be gay.
@@1ParrotAndBirdFan Loreen lives in Sweden and that's hardly a country of homophobic extremism. I'm much more interested in queer people who escaped persecution in their own native country. Those stories are genuine and necessary. Everything else is second-hand tittle-tattle.
