You guys are actually correct about the entendres! Jaem (잼) which phonetically sounds like the word Jam, also means "fun" in Korean! Not a lot of people can catch these since there's two languages involved, but SKZ have the tendencies to have entendres in their songs so I'm amazed you guys caught it!

In JJAM (as in many of their songs) they used wordplay with similar-sounding words that have different meanings.
JAM - as in jam out (dance / play hard)
JAEM - Korean word for fun
They ran with the wordplay and decided to use JAM , as in the sweet stuff you spread on toast, as their video concept.
So that was already fun, but they added a slight horror aspect to the video as well, which is cool.

Greetings, there are two Australians in the group and you can often hear word plays in nearly all SKZ songs. Jam is meant for both, actual jam and dance, have fun, also the term "got them" in this song sounds like a curse, when sung quickly and the high note on "got".
Also the album name "ate" is a word play. Of all 8 members, all the eras, or they ate the album.
The song writers (all of them) and producers (3racha) in SKZ are highly intelligent.

I enjoyed your reactions & welcome back. Be sure to watch the ATE Intro MVs behind the screen - it will answer a lot of your questions. There is a lot of lore, theories roaming around Stayville about this... but one of the rats eating the mutant sentient jam became the origin story of Master Splinter from Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles... or maybe the giant rat mascot from the Japanese SKZ Super Bowl MV. or a Goosebump story where you see the 'horror' with mad scientists SKZ creating JJam that became sentient and infected them causing them to glitch and jam like crazy.. also did you catch 5:18 when Lee Know was stressing over not having his morning donut jam, while searching in the box, behind him, his shadow gets shot! but he doesn't Lee know??!!
    - And I love finding out from our Korean Stay that if they tell you the "you GOT no jam", it basically means "you are no fun'!! Well that's me in a nutshell. "Jaem" (sounds like Jam) is Korean for fun. And "dori dori jam jam" is a common phrase used on babies to encourage them to shake and move. And of course Jam, the spread, as a metaphor for a sticky attractive force, like what attract them to each other and others to them! AND watch the title track Chk Chk Boom plus the bts MV. 🖖🏽

The word play Stray Kids is so fun to figure out! And idk if you caught it but the song actually takes time to highlight the different Racha groups-VocalRacha(Seungmin and I.N), DanceRacha (Felix, Hyunjin and Lee Know) and of course 3Racha of Han, Changbin and Chan. And it says the racha before each. Like “sing”, “dance” “rap”. Super fun little details is why they are the best of the best!❤️

As an American, I cringe so much over "peanut butter jelly time" (I mean, really!?!) but it's Stray Kids so I'm getting over it.
And I am so tickled that they actually put "I know you know Lee Know" in there.
And Stray Kids are always very creative in their lyrics. They definitely have an affinity for word play and double meanings. This song is an exceptional example.
