Yeah, I love how they put in effort to learn members of all groups they react to and enjoy it as well. Such reactors new to K-Pop are so rare. Really smart lads.
Yes, that's when you really see that they care about the content they're putting out, I'm not just talking about SKZ or kpop, but rather a respect/interest for the content that they decided to react to.
Most of the people who haven't listened to kpop for years, watch the videos as if they were doing kpopers a favor 😒 and as if the music or the MVs had to impress them to really value the musical style (as if it wasn't music already valued by thousands of people) very apathetic.
It's good to see these guys, beyond what they decide to watch, that they really watch 👍🏼

Stray Kids plays with words like 'jam' a lot. You'll catch it if you look at the lyrics, but it's super fun to find when they do it.

12:42 before the dancers (felix, hyunjin and leeknow) started dancing they shouted "dance!" ( if you wacth them preform on stage you'll see them 3 dance but in the mv its just felix)
also leeknow singing 13:02 " i know you know leeknow" is iconic (after his shadow get shot in the head lol)
13:05 before the rappers (Han and Changbin) rapped they shouted "rap!"
13:46 and of course to finish that off bangchan the leader comes in saying "sticking together day and night yeah"

you were right!!! stray kids or more like chan, changbin and han really love their double and sometimes triple meanings in songs. here they refer to jam as 1. jam that we eat that's sticky and addictive 2. jam as in jamming out music and 3. jam as "jemi" meaning fun in korean. It's a type of slang koreans use when they say no fun so they say "no jem" which stray kids play off as well saying ah you're boring come play with us type of thing. They've done this with soooo many of their songs and album names as well it's so cool that you guys caught how smart it is being relatively new to skz.
also, another fun tidbit about jjam, the song gives love to each and every unit that skz has. So when the adlib goes "sing!" you'll see skz's main vocalists (vocalracha) seungmin and I.N go off with vocals, then an adlib says "dance!" where members of danceracha (felix, hyunjin and lee know) show up and finally we get 3racha the rap unit/production unit changbin, han and chan.

Lee Know was the singer that said "I know, you know, Lee Know". He's one of the vocalist but he's part of Danceracha os when they perfomed this song live, he and Hyunjin danced with Felix. Lee Know was already a professional dancer before joining SKZ. He raps too, but does more vocal, like Bang Chan. LK has a excellent falsetto and he was the one in the diner who did that first vocal run in Maniac.
There are no official positions in the Stray Kids, but there are units. 3Racha - production, rap (Han (Jisung), Changbin, Bangchan), Danceracha - dance unit (LeeKnow (Minho), Hyunjin, Felix (Yongbok)), Vocalracha - vocal unit (I.N (Jeongin), Seungmin). Of the official positions, there is only a leader - Bangchan (the oldest) and Maknae (the youngest) - I.N. Stray Kids have created their own musical style - Mala taste. If you want to listen to the full range of Felix's voice, then listen to his solo song "Deep end"

Stray kids have some crazy good wordplay in their songs. What's more fascinating is that most people don't catch it because it goes by so fast, and it also includes both languages. They are so smart when it comes to wordplay in their lyrics. You should watch their "Intro" for this album, they explain a bunch about the songs and all that, it's really interesting.
I subscribed to their channel because they are funny.. and they really get excited about Stray kids, they really like to make wordplay, they should react after other mv to their 2023 guide or 2024 guide, but the longer ones, they can do it in 2 parts, to get to know them better.. seriously they would be good Stay (Stray kids fandom)

JJAM the song in itself has double meaning. Jam as in spreading out, ( for context SKZ are constantly cooking in the kitchen) in korean the term " Jaemita" is a word play of 2 words "jami" meaning "taste and "jaemissoyo " or 재밌어요 meaning "fun" in this context SKZ is making jam and jamming at the same time with music

You guys are just awesome and so much fun! You picked up on so much for a first watch! It's really very impressive 😂. There are so many plays on the word jam in this song: the korean word for fun, the sticky stuff you put on bread (to describe how close they are), the music term, the English word for a blockage, and also a korean nursery rhyme "dori dori jam"(sp?). I also love the way they make the phrase "got them" sound like "goddamn!" The fandom is called STAY. Because, yes, we make them stay🥰. They also describe it as taking the "r" out of stray to stand for the "reason" they do everything (for the fans). Believe it or not, you really can't nail stray kids down with categories or positions. The rappers changbin and han sing truly gorgeous ballads. Felix can sing at every vocal range (check out the mv "stray kids" to have your mind blown). Seungmin and I.N (the vocalists) can dance and rap. They have covered something like 40 different musical genres and often blend several in the same song (i.e. s-class). Can't wait for you to go deeper down their rabbit hole😂❤.
And of course Best Leader Chan who is the jjam glue that sticks them and Stay all together... and my monster amazing rap-dancer Crown Prince Hyunjin - enough said.. 🖖🏽😁

So in JJAM (as in many of their songs) they used wordplay with different meanings for similar-sounding words.
JAM - as in jam out (dance / play hard)
JAEM - Korean word for fun
They ran with the wordplay and decided to use JAM , as in the sweet stuff you spread on toast, as their video concept.
So that was already fun, but they added a slight horror aspect to the video as well, which I absolutely love.

also the style was a cross of EDM, dub step, pop and Stray Kids does love to play with words with double meaning. Basically they are using it as to have fun with the music and jam till you get a high or full. But cleverly mixing it with Jam like jam and toast. They do this a lot on all their music. Stray Kids have been called noisy by haters so they created an album for the haters called No Easy if you say it fast sounds like noisy. Their title track is Thunderous which is very loud and noisy but in Korean terms it is sorikkun, a term that refers generally to a singer, usually of traditional Korean music forms. This is just another example. They also do it in the song Venom. You have to listen to the sound of the words and read the english lyrics to notice it.

You guys we're right about JJAM having kind of another meaning in the one part around 11:11! In Korean he was singing "It's fun, fun, fun, fun..." where fun is a form of the verb 재미있다 (jae-mi-it-da). They say 재미 (jae-mi), I believe, a shortened version of the verb to fit the song. Its common for Stray Kids to have some play-on words in their songs and its fun to look out for!
every time samo shouts, "MUSICALITY!!!" at a stray kids song, it just instantly makes my entire day lmfaooo. i love watching new people discover these guys, they're so incredibly talented and creative and just astonishing in so many ways. you guys have so much enthusiasm and excitement and interest in their music, and you GET the music in such a clear way, you guys pick up on everything they're trying to lay down, and it's so much fun to watch. it's just so awesome to see other people who love them just as much as we do ❤🔥 i can't wait for you guys to dig deeper and watch more videos, you're in for such a fun ride!
also, if you listen closely, before each of those pair-up sections you guys liked so much, with the two vocalists and the two rappers, there are faint lines telling you which group is going to be highlighted next. they say "sing" before seungmin and i.n.'s vocal part (they're known as vocalracha), "rap" before han and changbin's part, and "dance before felix's solo. the other two right after felix are hyunjin and lee know, who make up danceracha along with felix (the third racha, of course, is the songwriting and production trio 3racha, bang chan, changbin, and han). the next section, which starts with bang chan saying "everybody" and then "jam", which is a nod both to stray kids' mission of bringing everyone together, as well as bang chan's drive to highlight all of his members and make sure that everyone is given their moment to shine. it was written and produced by bang chan and changbin specifically to highlight each subunit's specific talents and styles.

When Korean is romanized the sound of J you use when you say the word JAM is spelled 'JJ'. When spelled with just 'J' it's much softer j sound.
All their songs have minimum double meanings and there is so much word play between the languages. You guys are so observant and your reactions are so fun to watch so I shall stay for the SKZ journey.

all at your own pace of course - they have masses of content and loads of b-sides that never got music videos and snazzy live performances and all sorts. they were in London just a little while ago at BST Hyde Park! (there is also a world tour coming at some point)

12:22 that's Seungmin (the short black hair guy) and the other one is I.N (the ginger). they do a lot of duo parts in songs together because they're part of a unit called Vocalracha (meaning they're in charge of most vocals in their songs).

So the guy you liked the vocals is Seungmin, next to him in pink was I.N. (said in letters not together), that is is stage name. They are the main vocalist of the group and the youngest. Then the 3rd guys you didn't name is Lee Know (eating the beagle or donut) He actually says his name. It is a meme to say you know, I know, Lee Know.. His real name is Lee Minho but it is to similar to another famous idol so he went with Lee Know. When Changbin (or Binnie) starts the m/v it is called a Bintro, because he does start off a lot of their m/vs. Bang Chang actually did the first lyric lines in Maniac if you don't count the Lets Go from Felix.
Check out the other songs from this album Mountains m/v (more anthem song), and Stray Kids m/v called Stray Kids. it is a song about looking back to where they started and where the are at now. They scenes you see in the mv you won't know since ya'll are new to stray kids but they are scenes from their past m/vs. Hellevator m/v is their pre-debut song and District 9 was their debut song. The song Stray Kids you hear Felix singing in higher tones it will blow you away to hear his other vocal range. Also check out Venom m/v, Freeze m/v, LaLaLaLa m/v. this will get you started.
