Why can’t people just accept a very close platonic relationship between two women without turning it into something more? Women are sensual beings and express their feelings but it doesn’t make it more than platonic. I found this show after it went off the air and enjoy the interactions but sad that it started focusing to much on the personal relationships in my opinion especially since there were two very strong women characters.
Because Maura is insanely jealous of any man getting anywhere near Jane. And THAT is never part of a platonic friendship between women- especially not as Jane truly cares about Maura.
