- Future Cop: LAPD is a third-person shooter developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts and released first for the PlayStation, then Mac OS and Microsoft Windows. Future Cop was originally developed as an installment of the Strike series.
In the game, players assume the role of a pilot for the X1-Alpha, a robot designed to fight in the "Crime War" in Los Angeles in the year 2098. The X1-Alpha is a police vehicle that can transform between a fast, hovering pursuit vehicle, and a slower, full-fledged combat mecha. - Hudba

Shockwave and the Beam is such an OP weapon. No aim required, instant hit and deletes projectiles. I remember having an agreement to ever not use those weapons when playing this game against a friend because it would turn into who gets the first hit.

Such a good classic game! It badly needs a reboot! I'm surprised people are starting to finally find out about this game after all these years I've been talking about it! The pc version is a lot more HD than the PlayStation version, but the menu is kinda ugly and lacks music...
Oh and by the way, if anyone is wondering, this gameplay is only singleplayer on precinct assault outside of the campaigns, and it's only one of the maps!
Can you give an explanation on how to do that? Like what to search on google and what to download...I’ve been trying things and tutorials but they are all outdated
Logan Catlin well I don't know where to get the PC version, but I me I just downloaded a PS2 emulator (PCSX2) for LAPD: future cop and RC Revenge Pro!
In fact, I'm not sure you CAN buy the game on any store except maybe PS3... you'd probably have to sail the high seas on this one...
I think abandonwaregames.net has the PC version!
While myabandonware.com had the PS2 version.

Hey! I don't really know how to answer on that question,
but im useing a xbox-360 controller and set it up like a normal control, those sidewalk moves i just click down the joysticks for more smoother turns.

I personally used a PlayStation emulator. You just download and install the sdk file.

@@Lt_Wolf91 Which is surprising! I see a lot of vids that do, but I like being able to be in the tank push and mortars really help with that. Keeps you from knockign your own vehicles out. I used to play 1v1 on PS1 all the time with tons of friends and only lost a couple times haha.
