In “Twice Dead King”, Zandrekh is implied to have always been a bit of a nutter(even before biotransference).
yeah but in Severed it is implied that his delusions might be a coping mechanism because at the end he has a tiny moment of lucidity

@@torcaace Tbf Twice Dead King really leans into the the idea of the Dysphorakh, and perhaps as part of that horror Zandrekh has learnt to cope with it better than others. Maybe his Heka is just that strong that he can fight back the Dysphorakh but at the cost of being trapped in the past.
@@Cerderiuswarhammer 40k is a setting where an ancient egyptian terminator king suffers from body dysphoria.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought the comment section was bound to be dumpsterfire.

The only reason why they'd kiss is so they could stab each other.

Particularly one of the first time Orikan transcends and assaults Trazyn in his Galleries, phasing through the walls and displays to grab and pin him down by the throat and wrist so he can't reach for his Obliterator ? 😂

Having built and painted these myself, they sucked and hated working on the fine cast, but your results here are the best I've ever seen on these models Jay, truly amazing that you could make these junky resin models shine ❤

Obyron is one of my favourite characters, i really hope they remake his model like the towering sentinel he is
at this point, i'd honestly like them to take both of them and put them in the same base and act as a mini centerpiece

I love these two so much, makes me hope that the Obyron I ordered finally comes in so my Zahndrekh can have his true guard instead of the three warriors sitting with him now. My Necron Quixote needs his trusted friend, still sad that they remove the names for the different results for Zahndrekh's Transient Madness ability for tenth (third result name in ninth "Solormills? Charge!" gives re-rolls for charges.).
Also love the paint job and those Necrons look beautiful!!

There are still at least three metal molds in the catalog, the three Skryre Acolytes, so either they haven't sold the old metal stock or that's still metal.
That does not take away from this great ship.
The goblins in aos have two metal wizards. Idk why they are still selling them.

Lots of minis in the skaven ratalogue are metal! You mentioned the skryre acolytes but Ikit claw and engineers are also metal!
@@RealDuendeNoFake ah, I didn't know. I know the Acolytes one because it's about the worst purchase on the website. A random of three sculpts for a 5 rat minimum unit at low point value

I bought Nemesor a while back and havent touched finecast since. Theres plenty of suitable bits/bodies that can recreate almost all of the characters in the same exact model pose but in plastic with far better details. I recently finished a kitbashed Trazyn the Infinite since GW didnt bother to give him a new sculpt and have a kitbashed Nemesor still left to paint. With the new Orikan and Imotehk I now only have Anrakyr left. RIP characters to legends

Where do you get your cork sir? I am having trouble locating some.
I worked for GW when Finecast launched and it was Sooooo hard to keep my enthusiasm once they starting coming in. At first I took returns for defective product...but in reality it took several kits to piece together one decent one.
Pro tip for necron finecast characters:
Buy a 3d print clone, looks better and are better quality by miles for a fraction of the price

Zhandrekh is a Nemesor. I Nemesor being like a special kind of Overlord above an Overlord but below a Phaeron/Phaerakh. More or less a high star general. "A Nemesor is usually the highest-ranking Necron officer in any given campaign."

As a commissionpainter...I refuse working with GW Finecast by now. It's horrible. If you don't fix it, clients usually are bothered. If you fix it and attach a price to the extra hours spent, clients are usually bothered. It's not worth it, not one bit. It ruins any of the fun.
They still get a lore blurb in the 10th edition codex. It’s just their models that don’t exist anymore. Here’s hoping they keep up with refreshing the necron line. They’re almost done after all.
i thougth obyron is a necron lord and zandrekh is an overlord, because back in 7th edition u could take them instead of a lord/overlord in the charackter groupthing u could use

No matter what character I buy for my armies, I always paint them in the colors I paint that army and if it doesn't fit using him/her/it with their real name in my army then I give them a new name. Only character I haven't done this with is Robute Guilliman, as my Space Marine army is a Ultramarine successor chapter, so he can fight with them looking like a regular Ultramarine.
