As an American who is used to seeing F18s at almost every air show, strange to see an F18 with a Swiss Cross like on my Swiss army knife but we are in a global economy, so I know other countries buy this outstanding aircraft.
Éric Bilodeau yes, but the ability and prowess of the demo pilot to take that new level of agility to a real world flying display is what makes that enhanced performance that much remarkable. Actually for an user of this platform outside the States, Swiss and Finnish Air Forces are well ahead of the rest in exploiting the operational capabilities of a jet past the 30 years old mark.
@@victormanuelpolanco922 Switzerland is in a competition for aquireing a new jet and the procedure is kind of imobilized by the sheer strenghth of the hornet (which the US doesn't want to sell us again.. damn). We want a double engined (redundant), interceptor and Groundattack aircraft in second priority. Russians are no option and the JSF is too expensive. where to go?! Rafale, Eurofighter and that's about it.
@@peterott8053 France, I've just recently read, has some kind of agreement with Germany to upgrade the Rafale in the next few years. . Rafale is for sure the go to option in this part of the Atlantic.
That's a hell a a fighter pilot.. no b.s heis really pushing the limits but controlling with perfection! Great job whoever is flying this jet you one badass 💪.
Since when does Switzerland have carriers. F 18 is impressive but is not a multirol plane. Exclusivity was designed for the US navy in 1970. Good job and high professionalism the pilot.
"Since when does Switzerland have carriers." It's not an exclusively carrier based aircraft. Only one operator out of 8 uses it from carriers. "F 18 is impressive but is not a multirol plane" It literally is a multirole plane. "Exclusivity was designed for the US navy in 1970." No, it wasn't. It was designed for the USAF's LWF program and adapted for the Navy through the VFAX program.
The F-18 is a classic and highly capable fighter jet
This is TRULY one of the BEST Demo of the F18, I have ever seen!
I applaud the wonderful flying and wonderful shooting.
The Finnish And Swiss boys sure fly the shit out of there hornets better than any Canadian or american hornet pilots lol.

The Swiss fly the F-18 better than we do... great demo.
Best demo I've ever seen. Why don't they do this in America.😒
vette life The Swiss Army developped a new software for the F18. This why its so agile.
Éric Bilodeau they are amazing pilot's.

Pushing thé limits. .. àgain 💪👏👍
The Swiss know how to show off the Hornet's High Alpha strengths. Aerobatics make for an excellent air show demonstration.

F-14's High Alpha
It would be hot too see the Super Hornet doing the same maneuvers.
This guy is going to be awesome behind the stick of a Swiss F-35.
You guy was very visionary 👍
Wow the pilot sure makes that sucker float.
Fay like a butterfly sting like a bee...(Ali)
He made the blue Angels look like rookies
Zero dislikes!!!
Are you sure about this....
The F-18 has built in canards that it doesn't even use.
Fly ...sorry
