This is so beautiful, and I love the way at the beginning, all the ladies' skirts are moving, much like a curtain before it goes up in a theater. Obviously, there's a bit of nervousness. And then, once they're engaged in singing, all those skirts are still. Such powerful voices; thank you for posting this!
My dad is 95 almost 96 and he often sings this song in German. I play it for him so thanks for posting. He left Germany in 1956.
