AGUST D IS BACK & it's an emotionally nostalgic rollercoaster-- Strange, 28 & Dear My Friend are truly THOSE tracks♡ while Set me free interlude is nature vibes infused, as Daechwita is Yoongi's stellar title track that i can't help but play on a loop! D-2 in it's ENTIRETY please what a Gem as expected!!! Yoongi, i love you all. then, now, Always♡ Forever Bangtan. And for the song "people" yoongi talks about how he is envious of us who live a normal life, and can go about doing what they want without being chased and constantly watch. He says what we find extraordinary is normal to him, and what he finds extraordinary is normal to us. We may all want to live in the lime light but when it comes back to it, we just all want to be normal and live comfortably without constant fear and worry about what might happen in our lives. "dear my friend" is a song about an ex friend of yoongi, this friend went to prison for drug addiction, yoongi visited him every week, even though the trip was 3 hours long, when his friend went out of prison, yoongi went to see him again. his friend asked him 'do you want to try **?' which i'm assuming was a drug. at that moment yoongi realized his friend wasn't the same anymore, got angry and shouted at him for offering him drugs, even after being in prison and going through hell because of it. yoongi asks himself what would have happened if he had stopped his friend that day, before his friend tried drugs. they aren't friend anymore, and even though yoongi hates him, he still misses him, so this isn't a song about how he hates him it's more about him looking back on the memories he had with his friend. for me it's the saddest song in the mixtape.
I think the way you're doing the reaction with the lyrics this way is the best. Until you can record lyric video or subtitled videos. What you did was the best way to do it with what you have. Focusing on the lyrics is perfectly fine! In fact, we love that you did that! We applaud you for doing so!
