In this video, I answer some frequently asked questions people with limb differences get and talk about some of my favorite items that I've discovered over the years.

Thank you for posting this and continuing to spread awareness. It's never occurred to me just how difficult it would be to purchase shoes with different sized feet, but now that you mentioned it, it really opens my eyes! I hope one day there's a company that specializes in accessibility and maybe even sells individual shoes, not pairs, to help with this. Here's to the future ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words friend. It's definitely been a journey over the years to find good shoes. But I'm hopeful that the more people talk about things like this, the better chance there is for companies to make shoes that will work for people like me😊

Wow that was interesting, just reminded of my cousin she has 2 same little toes...but that tool is awesome i use my self not because i have four finger because sometime jar lids or any kind of lids are just to tight to open that tool come in handy.....anyway thanks for sharing my friend ,have a great day 😊👍
Thank you so much for the kind words and sharing. The jar opener has saved me so many times. My hands are on the tiny side so depending on the lids it can be difficult to get a good grip. It's fun to discover new gadgets to make life easier ☺

I got about halfway through your video (don't have time for more right now), but you said something about topics for future videos, and I would say: If a writer were to include a person with Ectrodactyly, what sort of nuances would really sell the experience? By which I mean, which aspects of your day-to-day stand out as particularly different from that of people without your condition? Surprising issues you've had, or things people have expected you to have trouble with that you actually don't? Other than having trouble opening jars and finding good shoes, I mean.
I once heard of a blind man who invited some friends over and they didn't think to turn off the lights when they left, so he just had the lights on for days without realizing it, because he never thinks of them. Or there's the way that a Deaf person experiences vibrations that most people don't pay attention to, and can use that to "listen" to music. People like me (Neurodivergent in a couple ways) can wind up focusing on unusual things, and have issues with time blindness and picking up on social cues without being directly told. That sort of thing.
Also, have you ever read the webcomic Selkie? The main character is a little girl who's not human, and she gets adopted early on, and when her new dad goes to leave he's like "where are your shoes?" and she's like "ugh, I *hate* shoes" and it turns out the orphanage never had any that would fit her, so the ones she wears squeeze her webbed feet -- so the first task after taking her out of the orphanage is to hunt around for shoes that fit her (and pay an exorbitant price for custom shoes, which luckily he *can* afford). A lot of the comic is just the adjustments that come when two very different species wind up interacting, and it's very heartwarming ^_^
Thank you for taking the time to watch and write a comment. To be honest, it truly it was difficult to think of something aside from the examples I had since for me living with limb differences is my norm. So with that being said, I had to think about this a bit more.
Not too many things stick out aside from when I'm walking around with someone that walks quicker. Because of my limb difference and having two toes on my right foot, the way I walk and my balance can cause my foot to rub on my shoe. Depending on how long or the distance I'm walking, I've found that I'll get sore patches (similar to when you try to break in new shoes and walk too long in them) that may lead me to limping or having a difficult time walking on that foot until the pain subsides. So for example, when I walk with my partner, I may have to ask him to slow down his stride so I can keep up with him and avoid this from happening or if I'm wearing certain sandals that my foot could slip out of more easily.
