- It's been a while since I made a writing-themed video, so I thought it was about time. I've been playing with Alan Wake, so that might have given me the idea for a writer in a cabin:P Lots of awesome sounds in this one, like the typewriter, writing on paper, rain tapping on the window, thunder rumbling in the distance and paper tearing and crumpling, which I'm sure all writers are familiar with:D I love to write and read as well, so I hope a lot of my fellow writers will be able to create fantastic stories while listening to this:) Enjoy!

Hi! I'm Melinda, a VFX artist and sound designer from Hungary. I create relaxing ambient soundscapes of unique places. Hopefully, you'll enjoy listening and looking at these ambience videos made to relax you, transport you to faraway places, help you study or work, and maybe even trigger your ASMR.

Nikon D3300 (DSLR for recording green screens, black screens and taking photographs)
Tascam DR-40 (mic for recording sounds)
Wacom Intuos Art (pen tablet for compositing work)

(Hubby uses Wacom Cintiq 16. He sometimes helps me, since he's an illustrator, and I can't draw, lol.)

It's rare to find a perfect balance between gentle rain on the window, distant thunder and interior noises - you've absolutely attained that perfection. This is going to be my writing background for a long time! Amazing.

Ahh! Miracle gets me fr! I've been doing a lot of writing lately, and even went to a different city for a bit to get some relaxation and more writing done. Makes me want a cabin where I can do this stuff.
Thank you for those wonderful typewriter sounds! I have a Cherry MX Blue keyboard on purpose because it's clackity and I love the sound of the old typewriters and the first keyboards we had that came with computers. So listening to this while I do my job (editing) is perfect!

Perfect to listen to whilst I write. Normally, I listen to music but sometimes need the change and this is good background noise that doesn't distracts but comforts. Makes me feel like someone else if working alongside me but in like a different time or world. Love the typewrite sounds, I use to do lots of stories on an old typewriter of my mum's so that takes me back.

the cat named Spiffy is writing a story about a giant monster roaming around
the forest and he is a friendly giant but whenever humans see him they run in
fear of their lives and this is Spiffy's newest book she is writing and she has
telekinesis and can make the typewriter type on its own and her last three books
have sold moderately well and she now has this big house and human servants
her first book is about to be made into a motion picture movie in Hollywood
but not everyone knows that Spiffy is a cat however as she has one of her human
servants fill in for her well she's very busy and is imagining her new book and typing
more interesting plots so we now shall leave Spiffy writing and typing of her friendly giant
in the forest so good night all.
