Chemistry is everything! I’ve danced my best in Honduras while working there for two months with a man who I had this immediate undeniable connection with. He didn’t speak English and my Spanish is shhht. But our bodies communicated perfectly like we’ve been together for all of time living for rhythm in the dancehalls . I miss that summer.

Это лучшее что у них есть, я так думаю. Т е нет уже такой резкости и дерготни что была раньше. А есть нежность на которую приятно смотреть. А также раньше были паузы в виде базового шага. Здесь же базовый шаг сведен к минимуму что делает танец непрерывным. Просто супер. Очень приятно смотреть. Это моё любимое видео. Даже начал разучивать этот танец. Не саму Бачату, а именно этот танец. Спасибо Вам.

You can just see the difference in talent on the dance floor. It's almost impossible to look at the other people dancing. For a sec, I actually forgot about the others.... Oh and at 2:49, when the tempo changed, their movements made it seem like the whole video was moving in slow-mo -- Pure talent, hardwork and dedication... Signing up for bachata tomorrow!

It's so good to see them in a social dance situation. I mean, cool super edited videos on classy rooftops or romantic seasides are great, but social dance and the chemistry on the floor is just the only real thing to me when it comes to dancing.
This reminds me of something funny that happened to me many years ago. I used to go dancing bachata very often and there was this guy, a stranger to me, who was not a worse dancer than many others, he just had a very unclear leading. I am not a better dancer than many others, but I happen to have a very ready following, to the point that some more advanced partners described as "too soft".
So this guy basically clinged to me most of the time because I was pretty much the only one on the floor who could figure out what the hell did he mean to dance.
For basically no other reason than we danced together a lot, the play of bachata slipped real and we ended up dating and making out, barely knowing each other's name. Again for no reason he ditched me a few weeks later with such an unbelievable excuse that I burst to laughter right in his face. We probably danced together again a few times, then the summer was over and that was it.
When I told the whole story to my best friend, she was surprised not to see me destroyed, in tears, dramatic as I used to be. So I realized that dancing bachata had indeed given me what I was in need for: not a new love after a long sad single time, but a spark of lightness and carelessness.
