Great review once again Rimzler! Those motors look like the old EMax Tinyhawk Bullet motor. EMax Bullet motor is RS1104-5250 motor

I have a Baby Ape Pro on order, got it for CDN$118. It'll be my first outdoor rig. The Caddx Ant is a significant upgrade; I run it on my indoor whoops and I like its performance. I'm going to install a CDN$39 Happymodel 300mW VTX/ELRS receiver board with a CDN$13 HGLRC lollipop antenna. I plan to get a CDN$72 RunCam Thumb, and install a set of LDARC 1104 7500 kV motors on it [I have them on hand], and run it as a 2S cine-rig, using 600 mAh packs. At under CDN$250, it's a dirt-cheap way of getting me some stabilised HD footage, that's for sure. Seeing your results, I feel pretty good about the upcoming flying season. . .
It's a very cheap yet good performing drone, but at 250$ you can start looking at other better alternatives
The motors were also the motors on the original Emax babyhawk from a few years ago.

They are not from emax tho, there is a big stock of this motors made that's so weird!

Camera is one of the worst I've ever seen ahahahahaha, they could've made a little effort there! Yeah 500/700 years old olive trees in Italy!

Hi my friend. I've been playing around with nanos lately and they keep burning out the escs, so this looks like a good alternative at half the price of most comparable tiny quads. I had assumed it wouldn't be viable due to price but after your review I think I was mistaking. Thanks again Rimzler.
When you crash disarm your motors immediately because if the grass or plants keep the props from turning motors and esc's can burn out or melt .
You can limit throttle in betaflight rates and pids settings .limit throttle to 75% might help it last forever longer .
if you keep burning the ESCS its a issue on your side! What drones are you doing this too
Every time I hear about Darwin they seem to have affordable pricing and really good quality products.
Ha ha ha, cheapest parts burn out or fail quick, making you spend more on replacement parts, making this cost more than the name brand quad that does fail or have long downtimes from waiting for parts. Simply a bad investment because of extremely high failure rate of parts!
Name brand quads cost more up front, but last longer and are actually cheaper over the first year or two of ownership! 😎🤘

The pricing is good and the parts are ok, they work but it's not top of the line stuff, but for a basher quad it's great value!

Goggles are DJI goggles you can find them anywhere, batteries are old GNB 3s 300 mAh, get a 450/600 gonna be better

You can replace with a better camera and the drone is fine then!

How can you see much better fpv now with the go pro on it ? You are still using the same fpv camera .

How does the vtx turn on in betaflight. I set smart audio in uart 2 but still no pictures
Try using the button on the VTx itself, you have to configure everything in the VTx tab

Yes you just solder in a new one!
I know this comment was a year ago but almost any slim/thin 20x20 vtx will work with this drone. My favorite upgrade was the AKK FX3 ultimate for about $20 I doubled my range and confidence. Also the mmcx connector is much more durable than the ufl connector the stock vtx comes with.

My only experience with darwinfpv is they sent me a dead on arrival then when I tried to contact them they never responded! Heed my warning darwinfpv is a mistake!
If you get through Banggood or AliExpress pay with Paypal you should be more covered
@@Rimzler but would anyone ever want to buy a product from a company that scams people even if it is from a different distributor. Banggood, Ali express, any of them don’t matter because Darwin fpv is garbage. The only thing better is at least you’ll get your money Darwin fpv likes scamming!!
