Search and rescue did not rescue any of the others they self rescued. Please get all the real/true details before releasing a story that will offend the people involved.
I don't know how many times it has to be said. The river is dangerous. Stay out. No matter how good you think you are, the river is better. No matter how strong you are, the river is stronger. The river is so bad they can't even get to the body. Think about that.

Don't stop others, just let them take their chances. But if they turn into tenderized bear ot fish food, that's the breaks. If I want to take a risk, that is my prerogative. If I need a rescue for taking that risk, then my family and friends should organize it and fund it. It is not the taxpayers responsibility to rescue me or collect my remains.
