Wrong step.. You should rinse in the same tube that wash it then you spin it

why not rinse before spinning? You are just wasting energy .what I do is drain the first wash dirty water and rinse with clean water whiles maintaining the water to use for another set of washing cause its not too dirty and then repeat

From washing go directly to rinsing, then now you can add fabric softener. Now you may spin it and dry. 👌
