Mr. Pandian, don't give wrong picture to the viewers. After Indira was chosen as the PM, the
old wallet of Congress wanted to run the proxy government. Nijalingappa, Morarji Desai, Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy et.al forces with the blessing of Kamaraj wanted to keep Indira Gandhi under their control. Indira bounced. While she announced the schemeĺ of Bank Nationalization, it was pushed into a biggest flop and the reason was Moraji Desai who was the then Deputy PM of India.

First of all, it was not cariappa, it was General Thimmaiyah. Due to Nehru insulting Thimmaiyah left army. India paid the price for it in china war. Nehru installed his relative B M Kaul to fight chinese. He was fit for nothing guy and indian army was decimated by chinese due to poor planning.

இது தவறான தகவல். Actually, major kariyappa and Pakistan chief Yahyahan served as colleagues in British Indian Army before independence. When major Yahyahan took over Pakistan administration using his military power and became Pakistan Athibar, for which major kariyappa congratulated him. At that time his Field Marshal title was with drawn. But i do not remember whether he was asked to resign or asked to stepdown army chief or continued. Most probably His Field Marshal title alone is withdrawn and allowed to continue as army chief. His of spring ( son/ grand son) was also served for the nation in Army.

Similarly after the demise of shastry he only made indra Gandhi as prime Minister and Morarji was not a contestant. That is kamaraj was called as king maker.
