Why did Coach Taylor don't want Matt Saracen to see Julie Taylor anymore? That was rude, that's his Son in law.
he would've had the same attitude no matter who the guy was. Saracen was about as stand up as you could but he was still a teenage boy and Julie was still his daughter

He wasn’t his son in law yet. This is the first season. Julie was in the ninth grade I believe.
Matt was a really good guy for just a high schooler, whichever grade he was in here, but to Coach Taylor, highschool boyfriends just cause hurt for his daughter
This was actually dumb on Coach Taylor’s part (and he’s the best character on this show), but still Saracen was the only stand up man Julie ever dated on the whole show. Every other dude she dated was straight up scum.
