In the end they are all allies with one enemy , the Russian tanks.

That's good..plus better ground clearance..and better hp/ ton ratio...a new Engine 1500 ho would be integrated.. possibly already integrated by now..a stealthier light weight version..it's a beast of Deserts..and semi arid regions where open tank battles may be fought..
DRDO made a right choice not to use a carousel autoloader. However it need an APS (active protection system), preferably not a Russian one. The army needs to refit all of its tanks with an effective APS otherwise they are pretty much useless. The Ukrainian war has shown that Russian tanks a very seceptable to ammunition cook off. Not having an APS is like signing your death warrant.

This concept is used in Japan industrial industry at the end of WW2 called robust design. Toyota is a good example of how Japanese products stand for high quality.
