Hugh Jackman and DebOrra-Lee Furness have one of the most enduring loves in Hollywood.
They met in 1995 on the set of the Australian TV series CorrElli. She was a big star and didn’t want to get involved with anyone 13 years younger, but there was that persistent 26-year-old falling in love with her and they did have an "instant connection"...so, 11 months later, they got married.
Deb was 40 when the Jackman-Furness family had their tough times, such as their fertility struggles early on and Jackman's handful of experiences with skin cancer, but both were so lucky to have a true partner by his side, someone to share all the highs and lows with.
In 2000, Hugh and Deb adopted their son Oscar.Five years later they became parents for a second time when they adopted their daughter Ava.
This year they’ve celebrated their 27th anniversary and share the main secrets of their happy life such as: the rule to never be apart for more than 2 weeks and Hugh’s favourite slogan: "Happy wife, happy life.
