Thank you for highlighting Lassen Park, it is a highly underrated national gem. I’m local so I spend a lot of time there, if you have the time there are hundreds of miles of trails throughout the park and there are many beautiful areas to wander through that get very little foot traffic. I’ve walked trails this month that had zero other footprints.

*it looks like bear spray is NOT allowed in Lassen or California NPs for that matter. We were so used to having it after having done Glacier and Yellowstone and didn’t realize! 🐻 💨

Great video! Looks like a great park, we had camping reservations there last month but the park cancelled them a few days before our arrival due to falling trees. I really wanted to climb Lassen Peak, also didn't realize there were so many thermal features. Nice job fixing the generator!

Thanks! Yeah this one surprised us. When we were there they had a bunch of warning signs about all of the burnt trees falling.
