    what a beautiful park! I really want to go here some day soon. Sucks to hear about the tour group, always sad to see. When I was in Teddy Roosevelt NP, we had a similar experience of someone chasing the wild horses while we were trying to get photos from a safe distance.

      Yea I love the whole national park system, it’s a shame some folks ruin what is supposed to be a park for all (including animals) to enjoy and leave no trace behind.

    Thank you for the video! Very well done. The Bumpass Hell trail is closed currently. Does that mean we won't be able to see it? Or if i understood, it was closed when you went but you were still able to access Bumpass Hell through the other trail?

      Yea that’s right, you’ll just have to take a back way that’s a tad longer to go to the overlook. You should be able to see it, however check on the park site to be sure, or ask a ranger when you get there.

    Great video! We just booked a camping trip for late summer. What time of year did you visit?

      We visited late Summer/Early fall, so this video is probably right in your ballpark timeframe. Enjoy!!

    How long did Cinder cone take?

    • @AlexynPhotoVideo
      @AlexynPhotoVideo Před 2 lety

      Probably only a few hours. Very steep at the end, and way more to explore around the cone if you wanted to see more, but the cone itself was only a couple hours.
