    Glad you are keeping touch with Nicole parents. I lost my wife to a brain tumor 36 years ago today, July 9, 1998, she was 30 & me 31. But I had a 3 & 5 yo daughters at the time. I, we, my new wife still keep in touch and they are still ‘our’ in laws. I was blessed to have two sets of in laws! I know exactly what you went through Chet, it wasn’t easy, you will always remember her, you will have your good days and your bad days, and if your wife now understands like mine does, she will help you through it the rest of your life!!

      I miss her dearly. To be honest, I was surprised how quickly Chet got into a relationship as well as getting married so soon. I know everyone deals with death differently but I don’t think I would have gotten over her so quickly not to mention getting married so soon after. That being said, life goes on and I’m happy he has someone.

    I started watching the Larson CZcams channel when Nicole was struggling with cancer. Chet is the one who decides what he wants to talk about. Let him decide what when he wants to mention his former in laws. Larson Farms takes a lot of decision making involving a lot of money. Dougo is certainly a unique person.

    My dad used to put me to work cultivating corn in a John Deere 730 narrow front end and no cab. Working with a 4 row cultivator. I spent a lot of hours in that tractor seat back in the early 80's. And talk about a really light front end. As Dougo says, "If you know, then you know."

  • @CaryGuyer
    @CaryGuyer Před 15 dny +8

    LOL, back in the day of cultivating mid to late 70s, we used a 1963 wide front IH560 with a 6 row cultivator doing maybe 3-5mph. It was all slow moving progress and tiresome days. By the mid 80s we had a 12 row cultivator on a 1466, one thing I learned the hard way, don't go out partying heavily the night before your grandpa expects a solid productive day the next day.........and don't doze off at the wheel..... 👍👍

    Hey Dougo…I’m surprised you didn’t think of this. You take the top foil off the pudding cup and fold it twice over itself to end up with a “spoon” about 3/4 “ wide and 3” long. Then make it into a “V” shape. Makes it stronger and narrows it up so you can get into those nooks at the bottom!
    I’ve done this for years. Saves getting a what for when you lose the spoon!🤣

    I run rubber tire loaders for a living. I know all about making divots when spinning tires. You just gotta back drag material with your bucket angled so you force pack material into the holes. Then level the bucket and shave it smooth going forward. But yes… that area never seems right again. 😆

    Engines ECM has it own sensor it will be fine it operates fan when needed. Engine ECM doesn't care about dash gauge its "optional" LOL. If it gets hot ECM will let you know with check engine light, stop engine, high temp warning light and buzzer screaming at you. I've seen drivers keep going turning Cat yellow paint to brown paint on upper part of block and cyl head. I'm going to make it too Peterbilt I'm not walking or need tow truck
    Either broken up front where it goes around brackets on top of engine. Or broken by left rear corner of engine by bell housing or where harness goes over air compressor discharge hose. Gauges and senders go bad too. Check ground sender wire see if it pegs temp gauge. At gauge have to check power, ground and S post (sender wire). You can ground S to ground that will peg the gauge too. 2 senders in t-stat housing right next to coolant outlet 1 temp sender and other high water temp warning in light bar. Engine ECM temp sender in front of t-stat housing

    Hauling gravel for the new bin is taking a toll on the semi’s. They need a bath real bad. Gravel roads are hard on them. Get dirty quick.
