Lovely video displaying the beauties of South Africa.
I have a few concerns regarding building or Acquiring property in Rural area. A lot of land in most areas like Zululand as you've mentioned, are owned by Royal Families or are known as PTK (Property of the King). If that is the case then homeowners don't own the land they build on. Their leasing it under the protection of the Royal Family/King.
Reason mentioning this is that we should first clarify land/homeownership in rural areas. This has been a concern for many individuals moving to these areas trying to start agricultural/real estate businesses.
That's the reason why there isn't a boom economy moving/building in rural areas.
Always great content and insight to what is on offer.
Watching from London and SA is definitely my next destination.
Keep up the great work.
GOD bless you.
Siyabonga Sista Velile. We love your videos eSwatini. 🇸🇿 Keep us posted, beautiful rural Africa. We come a long way from nud houses and clay coated floors. It was tough especially here in Swaziland ngabo early 70's through to bo 1985.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
Thank u cc for promoting rural areas and u are inspiring us and have decided that month end of June my story of city life will be changed and I will inform you family
What a lovely video presentation and the houses with the vast spaces of land. The idea that one should not only head for the country just for a roof over one's head but to contribute to the surrounding neighborhood economy through primarily agriculture is of the utmost importance and adds exponentially to one's peace of mind and all the health benefits that come with it, by being active in this way. Great video.🙏🇿🇦
I think the mindset of many people living in the city and why they would be reluctant to live in the rural areas is that they have been erroneously programmed to think they would become bored to death. They experience all the activity and the, supposedly exciting noises of city life, then look at the quietness of rural living and think, nah, not for me. What they don't understand is that behind all the quietness in the rural areas is a beehive of activity, activity with substance that brings complete, full total, long lasting genuine satisfaction to the soul, as opposed to the many unfulfilling, hyped up activity of the city that gives one a temporary adrenaline rush, which leaves one empty in one's soul, then one has to move quickly to some other fake unfulfilling activity to maintain the high, jumping non-stop from one superficial activity to the next, which is not healthy at all, like a drug addict. But rural activity is deep with a healthy satisfying experience. The food is more healthy, relationships tend to be more healthy, one's mind is more clearer and focused, there's a greater appreciation for life and creation, etc, etc, etc. One could go on espousing the benefits of rural living as opposed to the city, plus rural living has far less stress than city life which contributes to one's health. The idea that the rural is boring or not as good as city life is a myth that needs to be challenged and shown to be false.
Anyways, I wonder what capital outlay one would need to build and complete a house similar in size to the property, including the land at 5.38 mins into the video? In the Western Cape, even in the rural parts of the Cape something similar to this this would probably cost a fortune.
Peace, health and space. All these attract me to rural living. Thank you sister Velile for all the videos on your channel.
🙏🏾❤️
The natural landscape is breath taking. I love the greenery. I was traveling between Zeerust and Rustenbug today, from Mahikeng to Pretoria, and I was enjoying the similar views along the winding N4 road. SA is beautiful 👌

❤
Wow very beautiful, and the landscape is breathtaking... reminds of home..
It is very beautiful and provides peace of mind if you are looking for stability in life. 🙏🏾❤️
Great channel, but can you also tell us the name of these places because most of them are so beautiful, but where are they located KZN, NorthWest ect.....
OMG the yellow house is just 5 minutes drive from my parents bome and the white double story is my sisters friend's house😂
I'd buy there right now if i was allowed. I don't like cities. But I'd have a tiny house tucked away. I don't like giant houses.
Dududu, Kwacele etc ❤
03:14 very nice sis V. bt i jst hope the owner has a plan in place to stop the soil in front of the home from flooding away❤
I hope so too. The problem sometimes is that villagers don’t bring qualified structural engineers when they build homes. They just build and later encounter problems. We need to introduce this to villages as part of development programs and employment creation. A center for qualified black engineers and builders is needed. 🙏🏾❤️
A mudslide waiting to happen. And that's not the only house in the video that's true for.
Fortunately the owner of the house is a civil engineer.
I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times.
78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways.
81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times.
88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders.
92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come;
and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified.
99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations."
102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." 2 Esdras 7:75

Sawubona dade, your channel is very educational. These rural areas are beautiful. How would one make a living here?. I am currently in Gauteng .
Thank you. Most people around here work in the nearest cities like Durban which is about an hour away or just over an hour. Creating your own business and identifying gabs in the market is the most wise thing to do. Check my other videos for tips on type of businesses people are doing in the rural areas. 🙏🏾❤️
This is a beautiful rural. I would like to own land here. Where is this place
Sis V no snakes around because lately in KZN you'll hear about someone beaten by a snake I love the houses but eish 😮
I always say if those people are still alive without dying from snake bites, that means it’s avoidable. Farmers know how to treat their areas to get the snakes away from their properties. We miss a lot because of fear. We need to ask how and go for it. Please go for it. 🙏🏾❤️
Where is this area?
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV 😂👍
Please you must work for E or G or have endless supply of money. And if you are a imported weed forget it
I'm just curious sis'V, any idea how is the crime rate around such places that are so far from each other, I mean things like housebreaking, stocktheft yona vele but seng'sholo for homes that are headed by women. Don't know if I make sense.
You make perfect sense. Crime rate is zero. What draws crime to rural areas in when people are closer to the commercial or CBDs. That alone attracts strangers who are passing and have no respect of someone’s property. In the villages in rural areas you can’t just enter someone’s home even the gate without shout out for them to open for you and stating why you there. Villagers have respect for each other and look out for one another’s property including livestock. People who commit crime are people who do not belong to the village and it is rare.🙏🏾❤️.
Most rural areas are safer than the city, here, there and mostly everywhere.
But how can you aquire the land for free without purchasing any land?
Where is this Place
Velile where is this place. How can I contact u for help?
It’s in DUdudu, KZN. Please contact the chiefs of the villages in that area. I do not have their contact snd in the rural areas, things are done face to face. 🙏🏾❤️
What about the people from other country
@@Intellectual_Pinhead thank. 🙏🏾❤️
Hi Velile, thanks for these views and of course advise. Which side of KZN is this rural area situated?.
@@Intellectual_Pinhead what can a foreigner do to get a land in south Africa. If I get marriage to a south African?
@@thembizungu7049 it’s in Dududu, KZN. 🙏🏾❤️
@@Intellectual_Pinhead wow! Thanks 👍.
Is this method just for South Africans? Or African American diasporas too?
The law in South Africa only allows for South Africans. There is a law covering buying land in SA as a foreigner. 🙏🏾❤️
@@VelileLifestyleDecorTV ok thank you for that!
I think if they can approach the Chiefs they can acquire land as African Americans, it would be hard for non blacks. The laws are not that strict. It's safer to acquire land from Chiefs than in certain urban areas, where there are no title deeds. I grew up in the rural areas of Eastern Cape, I own land in rural areas of Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga.
There is still a lot of unoccupied land in rural areas of South Africa. It will take hundreds of years to occupy all the land in the rural areas of South Africa, especially now, most people are moving to the cities, especially in Eastern Cape.
@@africantraveller8303 ok thanks for that!
My sister how to acquire a land since I'm in Gauteng Pretoria how do I start
I have videos on this but for time sake I will answer. Identify a village if you have none you came from or if you have ancestral lineage to any (where your parents or grand parents used to live), go to that village, meet the chief, state your case as to why you want to move to a village and they will screen you and if the chief and villagers accept you and you have no bad intentions, respectful and not a criminal, they will give you piece of land and you only pay small amount to be registered at local municipality and you get land. 🙏🏾
You didn't mention HOW one acquires this free land, Sisi...
Free land cause nobody wants to stay in kzn because of flooding crazy content 😂😂😂
If there are free lands in South Africa why are there so many, indegenous South Africans are landless? black citizens are have no land! Shouldn't some of this land be made available to those blacks who want land? I dont understand! If the land is free why not introduce this to the landless people and let them decide!
Because they were told by the colonial system that BETTER is Urban. Remember the intent of Anglo-Boer and Anglo-Zulu wars was for the English to destroy this type of self-sustained economy Zulus had which made us powerful. So the plan then was to destroy this type of life and promote migration to cities. The rest is History. But today the reverse is the case, bc cities r flooded by illegals, thus folk in rural areas are using their land wisely whereas the CLEVER urban blacks who looked down upon these folk are now landless, jobless, etc.
Man in KZN tooo much land 😂😂😂
They prefer the cities plus your name and surname is funny for someone who says "lands"
