"We're special. The Avengers is saving the world and Matt Murdock is defending the CRAP out of ten block of Manhattan." Lmaooo gotta love her
Jon "Y'know" Bernthal
+RussianGuyovich I think it's because Frank Castle said that a lot during the whole season lol.
+RussianGuyovich "Yeah..."
😂😂😂 this comment killed me. savage
+AgustinMf2604 lol lol lol
lol
lol when deborah talked about karens biggest weakness everyone was reacting the way their characters would. karen was giving a tearful speech, frank was trying to comfort her but was too shy to know how, matthew wanted to help but was to awkward to say anything, and elektra just sat there not giving a shit.
Charlie looked like he was wiping away tears after listening to Deborah's emotional speech
Not to be a dick but.. too*
It's good for us fans of the show because you know Deborah cares deeply about her character and cast mates.
+imbrawler dubz it's not too
+Sage Sealy 25:00
now every time i look at charlie cox i think he's blind.
+JitoLibidoHTS I am more surprised that he is British!
+JitoLibidoHTS Same thing! I keep expecting him to make loads of eye contact, and the lack of it keeps throwing me off.
He really looks blind sometimes...
+JitoLibidoHTS dude, right on....... and his american accent TONE is so different from his natural speaking voice.......... I see his eyes, too and I am thinking - that dude is really blind LOL
here the same lol
Damn, Deborah is incredible. She is SO invested in Karen and it really comes through in the series.
First time in my life that i see an actor who shows that he/she is so connected to his/her role. It was both amazing and awkward!
Yes she's done an amazing job. The only other part I've seen her in was Jessica in True Blood maybe 1 movie I can't remember, but she's a great actress. She cares not a lot give a flying fart
"I don't see how that'd be a problem, so put us in the Avengers." The way he mumbled towards the end, hahaha. Cox keeping it 100.
Ronald Familia If that happened,I would be SOOOOOOOO happy!!!
I hope it will never happen because it would lose all the dark tone and the seriousness the series has.
@@gianmattia13 no it wouldn't, just keep the characters like they are and that's it, don't reboot the show or anything
Deborah's answer to "what's Karen's greatest weakness" was so passionate and emotional I'm just??? that was fantastic what
+Kyra Lexmond that's an actress like that, someone who can touch such sensible deep part of her in a minute, is crazy, i thought she would cry
Wasnt a big fan of karren until I saw this video. damn she is deeper than what I thought
+Kyra Lexmond I just got to that part and immediatly searched for a comment like yours. It was like she was acting as Karen wasn't she? Im impressed and confused.
+Kyra Lexmond that just shows how amazing of an actress she is, damn she got emotional over a fictional character that shes playing. She is literally owning Karen Page. Wow I was very impressed by her passionate answer. It shows she has real love for the show and that can only be good for the series. That was powerful, I can definitely see her going places and accomplishing things as an actress
I am trying so hard to like Karen, I want to like her but either the character Karen or Deborah's acting....(not sure which)....but Karen annoys the crap out of me. And I felt this way since the beginning. Maybe she will win me over next season hopefully.
Am i the only one who keeps checking Cox's eyes to see if he's really not blind... he does it pretty well
+Akeeyuki Was thinking the same thing - he does have that blank stare down!
i think it's Matt Murdock playing Charlie Cox here !
Yes he played blind very well
Me too hahaha just thought the same thing
Me too bro
I think people finding Deborah Ann Woll's answer to that question uncomfortable to watch just shows that we are really not used to have actors that are personally invested in their carachters, it's very refreshing seeing someone that not only relates to the carachter that is playing, but also is anxious to do it justice.
+Bea Kiddo She was the best part of this season in my opinion.
Zombboss mmm... i don't know about being the best part. This was a really strong second season, it's hard for me to pick the best part of it. But Karen definitely developed as a carachter, her arc was really interesting.
+Zombboss I agree, I cared most about Frank and Karen and their relationship.
+qwertyuiopaaaaaaa7 yeah not just karen but her and franks story was the most interesting to me
+Dixie Normas explain "ew"
Jon Bernthal as The Punisher completely steals season 2 for me. Unbelievable performance and they honored the SHIT out of the character. Finished watching last night, will probably watch again in season 2.
I rewatched the entire season simply for Frank Castle. I wish he was the only side character, and that Matt's career suicide and Elektra distraction didn't happen. Frank is my favorite character in any Marvel Netflix series. I love Luke Cage, and Zebediah Killgrave was done so well in Jessica Jones, but Frank Castle was flawless. The casting, the action, the character, the emotion...I want to re-rewatch the series and just watch his parts (lol).
barbaro267 I feel you. I didn't like the Elektra storyline that much either, thought that could have been handled better. But yeah, I started rewatching the other day, actually. Still as exciting as the first time around.
...I'm STILL mad they killed Urich, though...
Also Known As Ugh, I know. Urich was such a fantastic human being in the show. He had such a huge heart and a sharp intellect. He was the father figure that I feel like Karen needed.
Also Known As SAME
Facts showed his trial which was nice to see all the things the Punisher didn't fill in which is awesome, but ya he hijacked Daredevil. Thomas Jane's Punisher doesn't come close to Jon's he will forever b my favorite Punisher
Punisher actor just made one his greatest performances in his life!
indeed :D
I thought his role in the accountant was unbelievable too
Shane Walsh was my favourite then the punisher!
Daredevil has the most balls of anything Marvel has ever done. I love it.
DAMN RIGHT
And Marvel and Netflix cancelled it.
thought so too, but it's the punisher.
but god bless netflix for the daredevil show they created (he's my favorite).
Fuck, people so critical of Deborah. She is absolutely outstanding as Karen Page and I couldn't be happy to see how incredibly invested and passionate she is about the character.
i thought Charlie was gonna be like "Daredevil's greatest weakness is that he can't see"
Haha, so did I. That was my jerk reaction after the emotional answer Deborah gave. "I'M BLIND!"
+Stinkah Bell That's not a weakness to Matt Murdock. It's part of his strength.
Lmaoooo😂
Charlie seems to be such a down to earth guy, in almost every interview he always thanks and gives a shoutout to his stunt double, cuz he noes what a dangerous role that is and he truly appreciates it. Not many people who have stunt doubles even give them any credit.
+DarkJusticeZ He owns the role. He was also really good in Stardust.
+Big Sausage Pizza i think he is just used to it after rehearsing so much playing as Matt Murdock
I don't think I have ever, EVER, seen an actor show as much respect for a comic book character as Jon Bernthal does.
He's the perfect Punisher
Deborah Ann Woll I bow before such strength, intelligence, beauty and talent! I love how you grabbed the character and how you love and cherishes Karen so deeply.
Elodie and Jon are welcome to stay in the series they were amazing
26:34 When asked about Karen Pages' greatest weakness, Deborah is close to tears. The beautiful, long answer shows that she truly cares about the show and her character and puts herself in her shoes. She's an incredible actress and so so underrated.
i like that, people actually caring about the work or character
@@WhatAboutall she should get some awards , but within the cast and producers, they ALL praise her all the time and say that she is not only amazing, hardworker and smart af but also the nicest person.
@@magaencina2863 Her acting absolutely blew me away in True Blood and it's the reason I decided to watch Daredevil.
How she says "Matthew" just kills me, aaaw.
Right?
She doesn't even call him "Matt"
My ex started calling me by Matthew after I got her to watch Daredevil
Mainly because my middle name is Matthew
Karen Page was GOLD this season. I loved her, didn't like her very much in season 1. Deborah is a great actress and I really liked her scenes with both Jon and Charlie.
+Valeria Forgione she owns the character and is actually improving it with every performance
I just can't seem to like her. I don't know why!
Ser Ray because she’s a better character when she’s no where near Matt.
Yes she was phenomenal
@@gothgod10 because her name is Karen?
I want Daredevil season 3, and a Punisher series...NOW!!!
+tik tok but Mr. Tik Tok, we've ran out of episodes! D:
I know, I know. I'm just wishing for these things to take place in Marvel Netflix phase 2. I'm really looking forward to Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders.
I also want a Moon Knight series, and a Thunderbolts mini series
+tik tok I want to be the cheese in a Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal sandwich.
Hahaha. Maybe you will one-day. Here's to dreaming.
Jon Benthal was beyond amazing as the Punisher, not that the rest of the cast wasn't also fantastic. I can't imagine Daredevil being played by anyone except Charlie Cox.
Me neither
tcphll THE BEST PUNISHER IS THOMAS JANE AND JON BERNTHAL
+The Punisher Well, who am I to question the man himself. I guess I'll have to go back and rewatch the Thomas Jane version. I'm happy you approve of Bernthal, though.
tcphll That’s why I REALLY WANT them to team up with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man!!!!
god what an amazing fucking cast. foggy too he didn't get the credit he deserved he was a great supporting actor. this season was not just the best super hero series or movie it's one of the best seasons of any show I've ever watched in my opinion. Jon's portayal of Frank castle almost brought me to tears when he told the story in the graveyard. what an amazing fucking series man
+Nick Taddia ALMOST? I was crying fucking rivers at that scene. He truly is the best thing to come out of Season 2.
+Nick Taddia It's okay, Nick. I think we all cried, even though most of us probably turned our heads a bit so others in the room wouldn't notice.
... I know I had to look away. :)
I'm still amazed how Vincent D'Onofrio went from being sexy, homo Thor to totally nailing the part of Kingpin.
Sarah: [about Dawson] "It's Thor!"
Brad: "No it's no not, Sara."
Sarah: [to Dawson] "Don't listen to him, he says you're a homo."
Dawson: [Angrily grabs Brad by shirt] "You spreading lies about me, kid?"
- "Adventures In Babysitting"
Holy fucking shit Debra's answer to that question was so fucking passionate. Like this is why this show is so good, cause the actors know them and turn into these characters and get them so well. Also people gotta learn how to not ask questions that are literally spoilers in the QnA's haha
+Tony LeeIm She's done such a great job this season! Her transition has me floored and the passion she brings gives such a rewarding watching experience. All these guys are gold, perfect casting like I can't remember in recent history imho!
Tanner O'neal
Completely agree! You feel what the whole cast is feeling throughout the show, especially her! Ahh and Jon's dialogue in the cemetary scene straight up had my eyes watering haha
+Tony LeeIm True that! The way that scene unfolded was amazing, and the amount of prep and disparity Jon had to tap into all culminated into that one moment. Everything after that scene relied on it and he hit it out of the park!
I love how Deborah is really passionate about her character, she really loves it.
*has existential crisis because of Deborah Ann Woll's answer to what karen page's weakness is*
yup! 😞💓
I love how this show has basically turned Charlie Cox into a huge comic book nerd
+Joe Roberts not really no more like really not
Deborah Ann Woll is one very smart woman.
She seems really invested in Karen. Uncomfortably invested ha ha
+Dayle Clarke I think it is far more than simple 'investment'. You or I might be invested in her character. With her it speaks more to her craft, acting. To be a great actress, she has to dig deep into herself to find those parts of herself that are expressed in the character she is playing. When she gets emotional about what Karen is going through, it is because a very real part of herself IS Karen, and she feels that emotion every bit as intensely as does Karen. There are actors who simply pretend to be the characters they play. A few of them are good enough to be convincingly decent actors. The truly great actors become their characters. I think Deborah is of that cloth.
I got that, I was just making an apparently unfunny remark...
+Peter Cohen Deborah, i guess is an ok actress. I just didn't like Karen Page a lot (stems from the comics). I would have much rather watch more of Claire this season than Karen quite frankly. Was never a fan of Rosario Dawson but after season 1 and seeing how smart and eloquent she is in interviews (and the fact that she's a comics nerd too). I was in love...
+Dayle Clarke it was funny. My opinion matters.
I love how at about 27:50 Deborah Ann Woll reaches for Jon Bernthal's hand, and then rethinks it, and then he offers her his hand again. So cute! You can tell they really care about each other both as actors and as their characters.
Then she does the same with Charlie, she is really close with Charlie and Elden after 4 years but also got a great friendship with John, he adores her
"That's a long ass answer to a short ass question" - Jon Bernthal in every interview. lol. I love him so much.
💯he owns my heart now
Charlie's "put us in the avngers" comment was so honest. it would be so awesome to have him in the next avengers.
+Ran Bar-Levi Even as a side character that would be boss. Just have one seen where the avengers rip through and there are still bad guys left and its all like "Time for the cleanup crew!" and you got hawkeye and black widow coming out with daredevil helping.
+Ran Bar-Levi Well that may not be the craziest thing, theres no script for infinity war yet and the director said that its a very ambitious movie to the point of putting many many many characters, and they heavily implied marvel show characters like luke cage or dare devil so... Fingers crossed :3
***** that's good now my hopes are even higher
5 years later, he is! 😃 Awesome.
21:48 Yeaaaa even Charlie wants to be in the MCU movies. Do it Marvel!
+zrifepsych I really have high hopes that Marvel will actually do this without being too anal about things.. they are chill !
+zrifepsych Yeah the cast wants it, Jeff Loeb wants it, the only one person who's on the fence about it is Feige.
+zrifepsych Seeing Daredevil, Punisher and Spider-Man together would be a dream come true.
+KeshK123 hey man, i thought it would be only a dream seeing Tony, Cap and Spiderman in a movie. Never say never.
We're in the Endgame now
-Dr. Strange
I love how each of these actors stumbles over their responses just like normal people. It's fun seeing the human side of them instead of the polished 'actor' side of them.
I love Elodie's Elektra and Jon's Punisher! I would love to see a Netflix series of them together.
+GrilledZucchinis there is in the serie daredevil
The Answer
As in share a scene together.
deborah is so precious
+maxy so fragile
She may feel more than others, maybe less cynical and more sincere and earnest
Jon did an amazing job!! Whoever is responsible for the casting for all of them deserve a cookie!!!
Here 🍪 take it!!!! You magnificent beast.....
+Ben Kenobi a full stack of oreo cookies
cell9899 yes! Yes!
+cell9899 indeed
Don't try to fool us, they only have cookies on the dark side.
Karen can be quite an unlikeable character through what she does, how pushy she is, and her yearning for Matt. She could have easily been portrayed as a failure of a character, but Deborah Ann Woll brings exactly what she just brought to this interview, and that's heart, cheesy as it is to say. Ann Woll CLEARLY has a serious investment in what Karen represents, and it is this empathy and pure emotion which makes Page a fascinating and endearing character. The showrunners could have gone wrong with her on so many levels, but Ann Woll is, in my opinion, the best thing about this show.
+jackthecb But Karen was just unlikable. I know a lot of people were annoyed by her this season more than last. As for being the best thing on the show? I don't think so. As for being the best female character on the show? The honor goes to Rosario Dawson and Claire Temple. She had so few scenes but all of them memorable and meaningful.
Frankly, I'd rather have a character like Becky Blake for next season than Karen Page again.
+Rockart9 People got more annoyed by her this season because apparently they think two strong female characters can't coexist: Karen and Elektra. Plus, most of the time they hate on Karen because of KarenxMatt. Which is stupid af. I LOVE Claire. She seems to be strong and clever and a piece of art maybe?! Lol. But I don't think you should compare both of them. Karen has a different past, a different present, a different way of living. She got involved in a lot of stuff. And Claire has her own history, and she chose to not get involved with Matt/DD stuff. Plus, you can't compare what Karen did for this season with what Claire did in s1/s2. I wish they gave her (Claire) more to do, but as they didn't, I think it doesn't make any sense.
+B Jr It has *nothing* to do about having two strong female characters. You're completely missing the point. Its how Karen page is written as a mary sue in a lot of ways. From writing her to be involved in every scene or event in the story, to her butting on on legal matters like she studied law or even her as a "journalist". None of it is believable anymore.
Plus, she gets all of these people in danger because she insists on having things her way but she doesn't hold herself accountable for anything she does or even the harm she does.
Rockart9
I agree that it's not about two "strong" female characters. I do think though that those shortcomings you just mentioned surely DON'T make her a Mary Sue? Karen fails, a lot. She makes a lot of mistakes, she's bolshy, self-important, pushy with Matt and, as you say doesn't recognise the damage she does to others. Honestly, this is why I like her so much. One of the best things about Daredevil as a show is that Matt, Foggy and Karen all have bad and good qualities. They are flawed in many ways (and are sometimes outright dislikeable), but that's what makes them endearing to me.
They aren't just "a sociopath" like Elektra, they don't just have "daddy issues" like Fisk. Matt is arrogant, Karen is bolshy, and Foggy is ignorant, and that's what makes them so human. On the other hand, I can totally see why those qualities would push someone into outright not liking them, so I understand 100% why you don't care for her.
+Rockart9 I saw lots of people complaining about Karen because they are Elektra fans. It may not be your situation, but it happens a lot. And those people find sh*t excuses to complain about her.
She's in every scene? Lol. She was involved with Frank, so it's likely to see her in every scene of anything that involves him. If she wasn't involved, she wouldn't be. And she was digging, she WANTED to be in every single thing involving him or even Gretto. Maybe because she was the only one trying to help them??!?
It's not like she knows everything about law, she knows the basic stuff. The stuff you learn when you're working in a small law company. She had to deal with all the paper and she was always there discussing and analyzing cases with Matt and Foggy (because they wanted her to). Obviously she'd learn something. But you guys talk like she was in court as a lawyer defending Frank lol. And being hired as a journalist bothered me too, as it bothers me that Matt has bills to pay but he doesn't give a f about his job sometimes.
All these people who? Ben? She does the things on her own way, yeah, but who should she listen to? Matt? The blind guy who isn't even helping with the case? Of course she won't. She thinks she knows more than him, so she thinks she is doing right, she's helping everyone. She has good intentions.
I wish my name was Matthew just to envision Elodie Young saying it in that accent...
A talented and intelligent cast, Thank You Marvel and Netflix for rewarding your fans in such a fantastic way! Special thanks to Ms. Woll @ 26:40 she is really into the experience.
Before I started watching this I said to myself:
"I just know one of the actors is actually a Brit doing an American accent."
Seems to be the norm these days.
they always have a beard and co-star with Jon Bernthal.
CORAL!!
+Donovan Frost I literally laughed out loud at this.
+Donovan Frost British actors are cheaper.
+outkast978 And better.
@ 36:55 if you look at his fingers, you can see him get his Frank Castle twitch going, just thinking about his family.
+Aramis Hall ... "One batch, two batch, penny and dime."
Fun Guy yeah, that gutted me
Bang
After watching this interview I love the show even more. Class acts, all of them. Thoughtful, intelligent, down to earth and makes me happy to see people loving what they do.
Charlie Cox reminds me of a big brother to Daniel Radcliffe
Elodie's accent though! 😍 mixture of British and French!
Lmao she Asian tho. Not British nor French. She mix or half Asian.
Ryan lex Yeah she is Asian, she's actually half cambodian and half french but she studied in london for acting thats why she has her british accent even though her french accent is still quite strong :)
+Ryan lex She was born and raised in France, I'm pretty sure that makes her French
+Jonathan Modoh Quite lovely huh? :)
Maggielicious21 very! Such a sexy accent haha!
After i finished the second season, i just binge watch all these interviews, comic con panels, easter eggs, etc. I just end up loving the cast even more. Jon bernthal and elodie are just awesome. Portray punisher and elektra just perfectly. Cant forget to mention charlie, epic matt murdock/ daredevil.
The whole cast was amazing this season. They all brought so much to their roles. I really enjoyed Elodie as Elektra. She may have been my favorite in Season 2.
I love the amount of research and respect they gave to their characters. Elodie going as far as reading the source material and watching a Frank Miller interview is pretty amazing. This definitely comes through in their portrayals
I love Deborah's response. Basically she is talking about most if not all woman in society. While I am not the biggest Karen fan i like that is so driven and determine and doesn't back down. This is something that most superheroes shows lack. Regardless, it has always angered me that female roles are the ones being mainly labeled as weak, whiny, or bitchy. Like it happens regardless of how good or well acted the character is and at the end of the day people are always hoping the a female character dies. Daredevil this season did a classic one: trading one character for another because apparently two strong female characters can't exist at once. One must always go or be diminished as was Claire's case.
+CaraMarie13 two words Jessica Jones
+TheJunmengo ... I liked Jessica Jones, primarily because of David Tennant's fantastic performance. The actress playing JJ I did not appreciate. She never made me care for the character of JJ, even though I wanted to. Deborah Woll on the other hand does a great job of making me care for a character that could be more annoying.
+CaraMarie13 Claire leaving had nothing to do with "too many women" she left because she has history with Luke Cage in the comics. Karen is so intense it makes me comfortable. Can she not just take a breath.
To be honest... I was surprised that Charlie isn't blind.
That's some good acting
Elodie's accent is so unique and interesting!
Debrah is literally the most beautiful creature I have seen in my 32 years on planet earth ... and yes im an alien!
+ermistan Seriously, it is no joke. Her character would be absolutely intolerable if not for her blinding beauty.
+snowsandrivers blackfyrestorm You are joking right? Karen Page is amazing. Her determination is what drives a lot of plot points and her interractions with Foggy and Matt - and even Frank - have been incredibly fun, touching and compelling to follow.
So... Serously? You think Karen is intolerable? I would say, to each their own opinion but this opinion is just... WTF, lol.
Dare - wait for it - Devil Don't get me wrong. She's an excellent actress, and this interview clearly demonstrates a very infectious and intelligent passion for her art. It's not her fault. But they write some INCREDIBLY saccharine, cloying dialog for her. She's extremely one note and it gets irritating to me after a while. I wish they had made her character a bit closer the comic book incarnation.
+Dare - wait for it - Devil She is insufferable. She's so good at telling people what to do often getting them in trouble or hurt yet is never accountable for any of her actions. For all he gumption, its mostly stubbornness and a little lack of logic.
But if she does nothing, she's boring. If she does things to help people, she's annoying. Lol. She only got Ben in trouble, and as Ben's wife said: he did it because he wanted to. Sometimes I feel people look for excuses to dislike Karen. She had a big development this season, she did everything she thought she could to help Frank and Nelson&Murdock (let's remember that, for her, Matt was just a blind man), and yet she's still boring and annoying. And so far Matt is really good at telling people what to do and getting they on trouble too, which doesn't make me say he's annoying. He's trying to help.
One Batch Two Batch, A Pennie and a Dime...
When you know shit just got real....
Fuckin shit man that was so crazy. Amazing character, amazing performance. Beautiful.
So impressed with all their answers! They've obviously all thought deeply about these characters and really understand them and communicate them in a meaningful way. You rarely see that in these kind of interviews.
I could listen to Elodie all day. Gah' damn!
I'm sad that Foggy wasn't involved.
+Dakota Fisher Big hotshot, corner office lawyer ain't got time for this!!
He's probably the only one in court. (Get it. Get it!!?)
I DID get it, LOL!
Damn, I'm always blown away by how humbling Jon Bernthal sounds during interviews. Great cast, amazing show, just an all out good watch. Thank you for the upload!
The chemistry between those actors was fenomenal! Few times in my life feels that those actors' personalities have given a room to those heroes and live in them. Charlie and Deborah, i love them! And huge caliber of acting performance! Even the guy who played Wilson! And by the way the scene where he speaks chinese...made me to think about learning this language...
I love how much you can see their passion for the characters they play, and their desire and determination to get it right and to create/continue these three-dimensional characters. Such great personalities and such a great rhythm and chemistry within the group. And I especially love the shift in dynamic that Jon Bernthal brings to the table for Frank Castle. So, so well done.
Great interview!!! So much passion in each of them.
Charlie Cox makes a very good point towards the end.
without the glasses he's like a puppy...very soft natured and nice but when you put the glasses on daaamn, its like his whole face changes, badass!
Jon killed it as Punisher. He should get his own series. Im begging you Netflix
You guessed it
Your wish has been granted. Heck, even Ben Barnes is getting a role in the spin off!
It is always a pleasure to see people as eloquent, who know what to say and explain their characters perfectly. The interviewer was smart and is the proof that when we admire something we will strive for it to shine. Well done Sir. I can hardly wait for the premiere, because with this quality of people we can only expect greatness! Really enjoyed! Charlie Cox is so charismatic and has a certain aura of mystery that fascinates me and it helps a lot the way he built the character. Increasingly fan !!!!
Deborah actually is Karen Page...
Elodie is so underrated! I loved her as Elektra and even though I do feel like the plot was a bit convoluted at points in Season 2, Elodie did amazing and I would love to see her again possibly in the MCU?
the way Electra says "Matthew" is the sexiest thing in the world
+Krisinox Hell-O Math-hue.
Amazing interview and perfect questions and answers. It's nice to see actors really think about and analyze the psychology behind the characters they portray ! :D
I like how Electra says Mathew in the interview like how she does on the show
Jon Bernthal is the perfect Punisher because he's played roles very similar. Season 2 was just perfect. Season 3 is just going to blow my head off.
+Cloudy Brine ... SPOILER ALERT ...
Kingpin is certain to get out of prison during season 3 and I can't wait.
Fun Guy it's only obvious lol I read a few comics. Many bad things are bound to happen season 3.
Charlie "ughhhhh' Cox and Jon "Ya know" Bernthal
José Cruz =))))))
Damn, I think Deborah probably has too much in common with karen...
glad to see deborah so passionate about her role
kolisionn I hate your profile picture 😱
I'm sorry, but Cox just looks blind no matter how he talks or who he is looking at imo. His eyes never both focus on one thing. 2:53-3:07
+Matt Sobczak I guess the guy just refuses to break character.
.... That's dedication to the craft :)
+Matt Sobczak i was about to say this, he just looks blind to me, its crazy, its like his eye are always static they barely move are always at the center or something
Cox said in one interview that he auditioned for a Star Wars project and was turned away because he was instinctively acting blind since he played Daredevil so intensely and for two years now
Matt Sobczak he just has this eerie dull look in his eyes that doesnt stay focused on anything xD
Phong Pham- Thats Kind of scary.
Never been a fan of Avengers nor most Marvel movies but Daredevil the show is just amazing
I suggest watching Jessica Jones too
That was a great interview, i really enjoyed the interviewer and the questions asked, great job! Although I think Charlie did forget to answer how well he could see through the black blindfold, but I remember him saying he could see quite well through it.
Charlie's stairwell fight in episode 3... wow. Homage of sorts to "Oldboy?"
love all the well edited clips from the show. Takes the channel to a whole nother level!
Jon Bernthal made it okay for straight guys go gay for the Punisher
+tonious35 Psst. Tell no one I gave you a "like" for this comment
Lmao the truth
here's a concept: ~bisexuality~
lol he is awesome
Lmfao Jon is sexy there's no doubt n an unbelievable Punisher. He's the 1 an only Punisher now 4 me
Charlie's quiet "put us in the Avengers" hahah aww
Wow, Deborah Ann Woll got so emotional in that answer. Btw, can't wait for S2.
Deborah is drop dead gorgeous! More gorgeous than Scarlett Johansson and other MCU actress. Love the slow burn romance between her and Charlie S1. Their romance in S2 was amazing and very convincing!
dorky nerd there romance in season 2 is horrible.
Best Punisher to ever hit the set.
That was really good. Great job.
I came here just to watch Elodie Yung say "Matthew". For me the surprise this season was Elektra and the actress who played her, not The Punisher, because everyone was excpecting a great performace by Jon Bernthal.
26:35 - 28:10 wow I'm floored Deborah, wow!
Always crazy to me how different charlie's natural voice sounds from the accent he uses on the show.
An odd thing to focus on, but I keep replaying the very beginning when they enter. It's funny to me how they do. Charlie is doing some odd ducking move to not block the audience's view of the announcer, Elodie and Deborah walk like normal people, and Jon actually does a subtle greeting to the announcer by putting a hand on his back.
Deborah is just so Damned gorgeous.....sigh
OMG I SHIP PUNISHER AND KAREN SO MUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T________T
Me too....waayyy too much! But the canon will sink this ship, sadly.
yeah, Netflix shows some reality unlike the CW shows
Prerona Das Ugh, don't get me started on the teen drama CW crap lol.
Kastle 💔 they have a few (amazing) scenes together in The Punisher as well. The end of season 2 pretty much made them canon imo but in a heartbreaking way.
OMG Season 2 was SOOOO damn good!
Aww Deborah broke down. What a testament to her commitment to her character.
yeah the way her voice quivered made me sad
I loved this interview so much!
Great questions! Loved listening to the process and thought that goes into this show. + Deborah got me teary eyed :)
This show is sooo good.. Can't believe I have to wait another year for the next season. What I am going to do with my life till then?
+Larz
👌👌👌👌👌👌
+Thiago Vidal Luke cage, the defenders maybe
I feel you .. what is life . You could watch agents of shield or green arrow
+Neil Mcintosh bruh, I can't wait until Ash vs Evil Dead in a few months and a half so that should be very fun second season
More like 2 years :(
If Elodie says "Matthew" one more time I'll marry her
I think elodie love Matt off and on camera
Fantastic interview! such an amazing cast. I absolutely love this series!
amazing interview, amazing answers, loved this interview! and love marvel's daredevil!
They have such a great understanding of their characters.
Its really weird to see Charlie's eyes move. When he's Matt they just stay still.
Charlie sounds like Harry Potter IRL , didn't see that coming. Pumped for season 2!
