7-0...against 1 fight contractors
for an Ireland showcase career. It's time for a step up opponent (who has notably won in Bellator already) if its to be anything more for him
He's not denying the work. He never asked for a title shot... Lad wants to work, respect the grind
@@TheFireroom Wrong.
The "work" as you call it, is a preferential opponent schedule, as I said. This type of arrangement has been admitted to by BigJohnMcarthy himself on his podcast. True that Cieran literally didn't ask for a title shot. However, he IS equating himself to the rest of the roster in this interview ("7-0...most consecutive in the company.") all the same, just like someone who is calling for a shot...while most others do not have his arrangement - facing lesser skilled opponents to showcase a fighter Bellator wants to promote. That's the misnomer "grind" you spoke of.
He is a 3rd round fighter, as he said, and that does bode better for him in his future step-up than the others who had that career situation & failed: T.Fortune, R.Faraldo, R. Cotton, etc. So, barring anyone calling him out, he'll likely get a proper name in the future that won't be a cardio machine.
@@6WaysToSomeday 100% get what your saying, he shouldn't wear the streak like a badge of honor when there hasn't been honorable wins.
That said I feel your reading him wrong,
-he said he's only starting and basically isnt ready for top 10.
-he also said he doesn't want to be the guy that just fights in Dublin he wants to fight all over the world. I think when he refers to the fight streak it's as leverage to say he's worthy of the bigger American shows and wants get out of Ireland for once.
And I get what you mean Bellator picking his opponents to market him and give him a push to push the product in Ireland/UK, they tried this with James Gallagher.. and that didn't go well!!
Amen❤
Where’s the translator?
The future of featherweights, hoping to see him fight Khasan at some point
