    Tony Cairoli has 9 World Motocross titles, can he get a 10th 🏆 before retiring, or are the next generation of riders too much of an obstacle for the Italian legend?

      As amazing as Tony still is, he knows the risk of pushing the line. Against Herlings and Prado the line will be crossed by them already. Not worth it at his stage of career.
      Perhaps the "Diesel Dungey" method will work. Let Herlings and Prado crash out.

    • @michakorzewski5227
      @michakorzewski5227 Před 4 lety +2

      If Jeffrey Herlings won't get any injury before 2020 he might be unstoppable. We've already seen this in 2018. Even Cairoli, who is great rider couldn't do anything against
      Herlings. As for Prado, I wouldn't expect him to fight for podiums, at least not at the beginning of the season. But when he will gain experience, he will be formidable force.

    • @mxrider4222

      @@pbau7769 That's the point. Tony surely is still strong, and if the young ones get injured again he still got the chance to get chamion. But he ONLY got that chance if they get injured. Against a healthy Herlings no chance, against Prado, Gaijser, also Glenn in top form, VERY hard for Cairoli.

Herlings will stay in Europe cause he wants to race the strongest competition thats surely at MXGP. So if you want to see your top riders fight against him on the track it's up to them to come over here to race MXGP. Tbh I only see Tomac with a chance to go top-5 over here. Am I wrong?

      2010 I saw Tony when he was a spectator at Everts and Friends at Genk/B, standind just on the other side of the track maybe 5m away from us, when 15 years old Jeffrey Herlings, riding a 250, TOTALLY dominated the ones like Everts, Desalle, Nagl, vHorebeek, Strijbos aso all riding 450s, and left everyone there standing with eyes and mouths wide open. That day I saw it in Tony's face and mind ''If that guy will move to 450s one day I'll be in real trouble''!

      Ken is fighting for sure and maybe never will be champion again, but Herlings came out of injury, broke his foot in warm up but still won his first GP moto after several months off the bike, was off for two months again to come back to win two out of the last three GPs, that without beeing back to his top.
      At Assen he moved up after terrible starts and crashes to easily pass Prado two times and leave him far behind. So I surely see Jeffrey at the very top next year and later on.

      @MichaelLindsay Před 4 lety +4

      Big one to weigh is the access that's given. Because of the Red Bull tie with the team, they have massive access to the riders for interviews and practice riding. With other teams that don't have that connection, the amount of time they can access them is morel limited as they don't have a sponsor requesting it. Moto Spy for the US series deals with it too, slowly more riders and teams are becoming open to it but some won't participate. Hopefully the riders keep opening up more and see how series like this can open up the sport and keep it interesting for existing and new fans alike.

    ITALIAN PRIDE,THE BEST TEAM RACING IN THE PLANET

  • @fliarshypocritestothebones5698

    The video' title is more interesting than the video himself.. it's just a little recap of the careers of those three racers.. poor red bull ktm, those three are of the top of MXGP, they are the biggest team, they hire the best MX filmaker and the video is still uninteresting, and hey "Red Bull Motorsports" show us you that you can be honest by not censoring my comment..

      And if Toto Cairoli didn't win another MXGP I'm sure Red Bull KTM & the Luongos will make the MX3 GP again, just for giving the 222 a 10th title and even a 11th to beat Everts' record

      The u.s. riders make their living in the stadiums, mxgp riders are more all - around capable ( but they don't specialize in supercross)
