- This great invention facilitates the filling of '0' and '00' size capsules to 50 capsules at a time.
This quality machine allows the user to fill 24 "0" size capsules at a time with as much powder as will fit in the longer "half." The empty capsules must first be separated and loaded into the base (long half) and into the cover (short half) of the machine.
I bought one of these capsule machines several years ago and it is very high quality for the price I paid, it makes quick work of filling the size 0 capsules with any product of your choice. Nice demonstration in this video :)
0:35 - you don't have to open the caps, I put the closed empty caps into the machine and then gently use the smaller machine part to seperate all the capsules. most of the capsules will open properly. it saves a lot of time :) - I also have made a video, see my channel somewhere is one of my capsule videos and how I make it
THANK you for this tutorial. The tiny 50dpi sheet that came with it was the worst case of instructions in the history of mankind.
So many instructions are not understanderble now-a-days......China......they have the instructons in their language and they do their best to translate it right but..... I wish all the jobs that have been sent to other countries would come back home. ( I know understanderble is not a word...lol )

I have found if it is very cold or if the capsules are too dry, they shrink and fall out of the top. The machine works fine if the capsules fit properly. Vegan capsules seem to shrink less than gelatin capsules in my experience. Love this machine when it works properly (again, it's about the capsules).
edited to add: If you load the long ends and hold the small ends in your hand as you do, the moisture and heat from your hand will keep them secure in the top when you replace it. ;)
I bought this and I tried to fill the on a humid day and it worked ok. I'm looking forward to trying it on a dry day.
You can also shake the capsules into the holes, much quicker, just put your finger over the opening on the side and shake away. Also place the whole capsule into the hole then press the top one whilst empty and that separates the tops ready for the second press.

Lol, I haven't ever looked at someone's hands really. I had to watch this twice and concentrate on not looking at her hands. Beautiful. Make it more realistic and put someone like me up there with big a** hands and see just how clumsy it becomes. Is this what a "hand model" is for?

I've got 00 caps and they say you can get about 0.75g in there but I've tampered as much as I can but only get 0.5 and notice the tops a bit empty. I was wondering if i should tamper a small bit in cap tops or would that just make a mess?
QUESTION: can it be cleaned with water or will that mess it up?

One thing she forgot to mention. WEAR GLOVES! It kind of amazes me how many capsule videos show the person not wearing gloves. Once my machine and reishi mushroom powder arrive I am going to be wearing gloves and a dust mask. I want to make sure I keep my cooties off the capsules and mushroom powder.
Other than the glove issue, this was a good video. It did a good job of demonstrating how to use this machine.
It was probably just for ease of use and aesthetic purposes. I wear gloves when doing mine, mainly because while my hands have been scrubbed clean before I touch any capsules or herbs, the powder cakes onto your fingers, but not with gloves

This just gave me ideas ive seen on tv veggie pills but now im thinking ill just grind up broccoli myself but im not sure if it will even fit cause ive never ground broccoli up and its definitely easy and less work to just eat it but i could just be popping these veggies pill whenever haha

@DanteLeblanc I need to pack .5 grams of supplement per 00 capsule. I've been doing it by hand for years, and I rarely make the .5 gram mark, it takes forever to tamp by hand, and there's a lot of waste in the form of spills and powder residue stuck to my hands. Using this product seems less messy than doing it by hand. For me, this'll be a lifesaver. If you need to make one pill with only 5mg of active ingredient, I would use a hand-held pill press. Search, there's a tutorial here on youtube.

You'll have to get a digital gram scale, find out how much 1 tsp weighs, then select the capsule that matches. I think itll be more than one capsule

Make sure you put the long piece into the base. Also make sure you are using the correct size capsules for the machine you are using.

Yes it is you just need a gram scale to make sure you're filling the same amount each time.

Megan Xi Nope you fill all the pills until they're full if you need less of a herb don't tamp it down or use powdered sugar as a filler.
Oh I am filling alpha lipioc acid (burning taste) only a small amt is needed plus it's expensive so I can't afford to spill it all over the machine

Not as easy as it looks. When you turn the top part over onto the filled capsules, all the small pieces fall out of the holder. She just flipped it over and nothing fell out.
Not true! I've been using this very model for several years, and not once, I repeat, not once has that happened when flipping over the top half section. They DO stay in place, all of them. If yours are falling off, then your capsules are slightly off in being the precisely accurate diameter they are supposed to be. I once got a faulty batch of gel-caps from Amazon, and those were just a fraction of a millimeter off, small, in diameter, and they did slide off, but then too only a few of them did. The holes in this Capsule Machine are very accurate and precision-molded. They absolutely hold every body and cap section snugly, and line-up and align to each other with precision when the top is fitted onto the bottom part. By far, this is the best capsule making apparatus on the market. I just wish they'd make one in '000' size too.

Its estimated that there are 550 mg in each "00" size capsule
You need a scale. Measure the weight of your capsules before and after being filled, and calculate the difference. Different powders have different densities, so you need to do more math beforehand if you are using multiple powders.
That's fairly wrong. It depends on the powder density. For example, a "00" capsule having a VOLUME capacity of 90ml filled with an 0.8 g/ml powder would hold 720mg of powder. You have to determine the density of your powder to be accurate. That is Chemistry 101.

It is not that simple to use this product.capsules break ,you can pull it apart and some are not together. Took me closer to 10 minutes to do what she just did it with 20 caps about 80% full capsules tampered a lot.
Ughh this is a highly edited video. This machine is the biggest pain in the butt! Too much wasted product, you can never fill them full and you never have any idea how much is in each capsules! Wasted my money :( boo
I agree.The capsules dont fit into the slots very easily,and then they do not come out all nice and even like this! plus,its really slow.So,Im looking for another one.

at 00:43'' is seen as sticking a large portion of the capsule. but at 00:50 there was nothing sticking out! Idalia map easily passes over the surface without capsules ... It's a lie! In reality, about 3-5 capsules can not close the case. The remaining capsules are broken or pulled out of the machine. I wished I had bought that shit.

NOTHING works. The capsules are too tight, nothing falls out correctly, it's awkward and sloppy.
The Capsule Machine - buy one and feel like an idiot instantly! I made many attempts with a dry powdered herb losing every time. Is there any device in existence that actually does work?
Jeez Tim were you on the short bus? I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS and it worked perfectly. It's very important the empty capsules are not exposed to any humidity before they are filed. The directions are very clear about that issue. BTW in absence of a weight scale there are conversion charts from volume to approx weights. Most supplements include or lacking that dosage guides exist that usually recommend daily intake in volume (e.g. teaspoons, liquid or dry volume in ml./oz). I will fill a cap up then empty it into a measuring scoop to accurately determine the capsule's ingredient volume on my first run as it can vary.
