I added my right thumb twice. Sometimes it'll tell you it's already in there but if you keep trying you'll get it in. Def makes it more accurate and faster.

Thank you sooo much. I am new to oneplus family and this video has resolved many of my queries. Just one quick question, i tried using many apps for locking apps, but none of them working fine. is there any option in oneplus to lock few apps which can open with fingerprint only.

Good stuff. I was thinking about getting this device or the lg v40. Do you have the v40? I would like to see a comparison between the two to make my decision easier on the two. I like certain things about both phones and feel like I can't go wrong with either. The v40 is more expensive and that's the main reason I keep coming back to the 6t. The display is better on the v40 and it has the quad dac and boom box speaker oppose to the 6t having no headphone jack but I like the in display fingerprint scanner and the battery is really great on the 6t. I like the animation the v40 has to offer over the stock Android experience a little better. They are both great and I don't know which one to get! Lol.
Love you tip vids. Question, does the notifications interrupt music (lowers sound temporarily)? My Mate 10 does this and I can't figure out how to stop it other than manually turning off all notifications when I listen to music.

They should add no animation option for FPS, just the green light under your finger required to read your fingerprint. All the default animations look cheesy.
So using the "O" etc shortcut doesn't work the same as double clicking the power button? You still need to unlock or am I missing something?

I think, just in case you don't want to keep pressing the power button so much. I get anxious about that so I'm very thankful for those gestures
for functions like the flashlight and camera you dont have to unlock your device. it just goes to camera or it just toggles flash light on/off
@Warframe Enthusiast the small solid green circle under your finger illuminates your finger, the outer animation is pure eye candy, and has no function. If you like that sort of thing. There is a video showing OnePlus testing the FPS with just the green circle and no animation. I would like this as an option.
@Warframe Enthusiast actually the "animation" is for looks. The light of the screen directly above the scanner however has to be on. But since you fingers are covering it, you dont see it.
So glade you can make the swipe right feature Google cards instead of the oneplus thing :)
I've had 3 iPhones. 4, 5s and 6s. Just left apple for the OP 6t tho, very happy with it :D

best gestures were on BBOS10 to be honset and the idea of throwing apps on the home screen when you swipe was a smart way to keep the recent apps rather than wasting time waiting for it to show when swiping slowly

A other question i use always samsung and the keyboard at a onepkus 6t is so different then the samsung. Is there a seting fore i am considering to buy the oneplus 6t

Hey Sakitech, great tips, I noticed that in your launcher settings you have an option for choosing left most screen, I dont see that option. What Oxygen OS version are you on and what is the version of your OnePlus Launcher?

Poncho758 - I’m dropping my iPhone too. It’s going to be a tough switch but I don’t want them to catch me in their ecosystem. Gonna miss emojis, Siri, and FaceTime/iMessage but ultimately I’d rather open my options and have some freedom at premium quality for great value. I’m excited!

There's a feature like Apple's assistive touch (that circle that floats around which has quick toggles and software buttons) for OnePlus except it doesn't float around it stays in the navigation bar. Enable that when you do a video so you don't have to keep pressing the power button physically.
AbdulMuiz Khan can you use it to take screenshots? Assistive touch is the biggest reason I've always gone back to ios. It's such a time saver. Even more so if you're using an X/XS. Allows you do things so much easier

Hey, I own a Samsung Galaxy note 8. Is it worth the change for the Oneplus 6t? I really love the pure android experience and the front fingerprint with all screen.... but.... I believe that the Note 8 camera is better, and the Note is ip68 certified!

Does the Onplus switch transfer applications, data and settings or just data?
It gives you options for. contacts, images, settings, and apps (with no data). So it transfers and installs the apks but not the in-app data

i saw the phone today on tmobile store...very beautiful phone. i could not believe it. but i always here it has a big screen and its big....but my hand is small and to me the phone is not big at all. it is actually small. the same with note 9, i used to thing it was a big phone only for me to discover it is small as well. i wish the 6t was bigger.
but still i love it and the one i saw was 6gig and was was blazing fast. i wish tmobile has the 256 storage rather than 128 storage thats what i want. But the thing that attracted me the most was the beauty
